Probably he used redbox or similar.
Solution might be reflash the phone or try unlocking with other tools, but your GDFS area might be corrupt, so only flashing might help.

The Very First Phone I got of U8120
Unlock with Furious Dongle & Phone is DEAD
Unlocking again makes the Phone alive
so You can Try to Unlock it again ..
@Unlocker AL the reason is not to dificult to understand my friend i think ur so clever to find it (if u have fear i change it hahaha),,, but the problem is RRRRR try to help him think yoursellf in her situation

if u unlock this 8120 phone with furious, do it again, the phone it's not dead !!!
use fully charged battery, reboot pc and do it again.... your phone will be alive....
be shure to have good contacts on the phone when ulocking

Common... let at least earn some money... like was with u8110, some money earned and was given away free few time later.
