Bad quality wallpapers on 5300i

Hello, when I download pictures from my website, the 5300i browser shows them with a nice quality. But when i set them as a wallpaper, the image quality is very bad, it's like a 16 colors display. But the original wallpapers that came with the phone looks good. Does anybody knows the properties of the default images of the phone? Or there's something i can do to set my images as wallpaper with a nice quality?
This is really annoying me...i tried BMP JPG and GIF images and they have all the same problem :confused:

Maybe is converting size and quality. I mean, it converts 640x480 to 100x80 but also converts from 32 or 24 bits to 16 bits.

Maybe you need to convert files yourself and only then send to the phone.

I tried all type of images, unsuccessfully.
Why the phone browser display them ok ?
Could anyone send me an image that worked perfectly as a wallpaper on the 5300i?
