yup, I got Siemens whupped now.

I unlock a A56i, first Siemens phone after a year in the Business. was using Friea with no luck.

If I had buy Martech before , I would have been well on my way to making some money, but the cost seems prohibitive at the time.

so made my first $20 bucks from Martech....now just need to make back the rest of my $500.

Martech worked for me, very first try.

Note..please update the TP diagrams, A56i diagram not same as shown in the SST program. I got correct diagram from a post in the Martech.pl forum

Removing the resistor did not work for you?

you got martech only for unlock a A56i? you could do that phone using freia who is a nice tool if you know to work with it (you should make test point).

No. I got Martech for the CF62T. I had the A56i sitting around for a few months. I scratched off resistor and it still wouldn't unlock with Friea. Tried different setting, Normal, Patched bootcore etc. Free kept saying stuff like bootfile not accepted. It was a real pain.

Now that I got Martech, then this phone was the first test phone. And it worked one shot.

Is there any other discrepancies with other Testpoint diagrams ? (the one for the A56i is different from in the Show testpoint)

I did three CF62T with my martech box today. So $75 more recovered. this is not turning out to be a bad buy.

How do you fit back on the covering (metal perforated cover that protects the IC, resistors TP, etc. After lifting it off to locate the TP) when putting in back in place it is lifting a bit, making the battery not being able to be seated properly).

Yes... if you remove it properly it will snap back nicely. If you bend the plate or the teeth it won't. Try to bend the teeth and plate back and see if it's any better...

hmmm. I use a screwdrive to pry it first, then I bend it backward. I don't completely remove the covering, just bend it back enough to access the test point.

not sure how to remove it gently .

Carefully pry all the edges neatly and remove it without bending it. Then check and fix the teeth and re-apply it.

what error are you getting. remember the test points are very small, so make sure solid contact is being made. It was a little tricky holding testpoints and operating the computer. Also read testpoint adapter Manual on Martech.pl forum
