operator logo removal from lg7100

hello all
Iam a total novice at this and i have an lg 7100 and am from australia and wanted to know if anyone has any ideas of removing the operator logo on the main screen as you put a wallpaper on and you have that annoying network provider logo across the screen. anyone know how to remove it ?????? All help would be greatly appreciated

Maybe i´ll ask an hard question, but maybe you can answer.
What´s your phone software and version?
Did the phone came with the logo from shop?

Unfortunately you got me there but pls explain how i check for software and version but i did purchase it from ebay from a supplier in hong kong. My service provider is OPTUS so when i inserted my sim card the OPTUS logo shows up on the display....
Pls tell me how to find the version and software...
