Please help me to unlock motorola T720

I have a Tmobile sim card and want to but it in my old Motorola T720 which I had from ATT carrier but no longer in service. But when I put the sim card in, it asks me for subsidy password...Anyone knows how to solve the problem. I appreciate it. Thank you
