Use Smartcrypto to Lock any type of File (Images, Videos, Documents, Sounds etc..)
But you can't Lock the Entire Folder you can just encrypt the files inside it.

Shortly, you can "install" appropriate JAVA games in NOKIA phone from model: 3330 up to (as far as i tryed) 6230.
Select one of 6 offered cable (any cable wich is named in list of MMB is ok) or Infrared/Bluetooth connection and connect your phone. You will see your phone device in MMB browser window. Find folder games/application and select it with one click.
Then you need x.jar & x.jad files in the same (any) folder.
From any OS explorer/commander "copy" x.jad and paste it in selected games or application folder in MMB window.
If you selected right (wich you are using) connection you will see transfer progres.

That is it !

ad 1) check if u dont have damaged jar files, or copy both files jar+jad or check if game support java v 1.0. U can try use for coping games nokia pc suite for your phone with cable.

ad 2) s40 is standart firmware for nokia phones like 6610, 3510, 6820 etc. its support only java appz or gamez and its very old sys.

s60 (and s70,s80,s90) its operating system like ms windovs for pc, based on symbian os. u can install here sis, java app (all from this forum :))), support more then 1mpx for camera, etc.

You can send the S60 java application/games to your 6820 phone if they are not longer then 50kb but it wont work like you see. You need some S40 java App/Games...
Try to find them around, for example:

PS. Don't forget the importance of JAD files so this attach. may help you...

You can easily find the camcordr for your phone with unlimited recording time in several formats (XVID, 3GP, ETC.) just make a search, but I doubted that 4x zoom can be useful because the zooming picture will be too distorted. 2x zoom is right now in edge of tolerable visibility.
The 104Mhz CPU bilt in Nokia 6600 is good but in my opinion not good enought for such operation in real time recording.

Okay here goes :


Find and download Catan

Install 6R46.AIF and 6R46.APP into e:\system\apps\6R46
Install all the libs from Catan into e:\system\libs

Find Asphalt and install it.

REMEMBER WHERE IN THE MENU YOUR ASPHALT ICON IS!! IT'S A GOOD IDEA TO PUT IT RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE SO ALL U HAVE TO DO IS PRESS MENU AND SELECT IT!

Go to bluetooth and make sure it's turned on, otherwise Asphalt will not boot.

Now select the Catan icon. Your screen will be messed up but don't worry, because you remember where Asphalt is in the menu. Now start up Asphalt and... HOOORAY!!! It's working.

Now enjoy it with shorter load times and a better frame rate


NOTES :

More games might work with this fix, I'm testing Ghost Recon soon...

Tested on a 6680 with firmware 2.04.15 RM-36

Might also work on 6630.

I'm guessing it won't work on 6600 and 7610, anyone up for testing?

Please do not ask me where to download these files.

When you are done playing, you have to restart the phone to get normal display back.

PLEASE READ : Do these things at your own risk.. This guide requires some knowledge of Nokia Symbian phones!

Okay here goes :


Find and download Catan

Install 6R46.AIF and 6R46.APP into e:\system\apps\6R46
Install all the libs from Catan into e:\system\libs

Find Asphalt and install it.

REMEMBER WHERE IN THE MENU YOUR ASPHALT ICON IS!! IT'S A GOOD IDEA TO PUT IT RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE SO ALL U HAVE TO DO IS PRESS MENU AND SELECT IT!

Go to bluetooth and make sure it's turned on, otherwise Asphalt will not boot.

Now select the Catan icon. Your screen will be messed up but don't worry, because you remember where Asphalt is in the menu. Now start up Asphalt and... HOOORAY!!! It's working.

Now enjoy it with shorter load times and a better frame rate


NOTES :

More games might work with this fix, I'm testing Ghost Recon soon...

Tested on a 6680 with firmware 2.04.15 RM-36

Might also work on 6630.

I'm guessing it won't work on 6600 and 7610, anyone up for testing?

Please do not ask me where to download these files.

When you are done playing, you have to restart the phone to get normal display back.



UPDATE : Ghost Recon also works! With better framerate than on the n-gage

send it over infra, blue tooth or send on mmc with card reader (if u have it),
and run it from incoming sms (infra, bluetooth) or use filemanager (for mmc)
or use nokia pc suite, if u have datacable (then u will need jar and jad files from games or apps and pc suite install all in phones itself).
if u dont have infra, bluetooth or datacable, go on any website and download games over wap sites (and pay bloodly for it)

for next specify which phones u have.

if u mean a game come as file folder or blz format, its only for ngage (but, some are compatible) only way i know, is use card reader for mmc with pc and when u open mmc in pc, go to folder with name SYSTEM - APP - (there u copy ONLY folder with game (games name)) for example system/app/ashen <- yours games folder. Then if u all do right, when u open phone menu u will see a icon from games or app in main menu.

with blz filetype u must copy blz file to root of mmc and in phone install app with name blizard instaler. after runnin it, open blz file from mmc and install it.

u can copy all files over bluetooth, but its take lot of time :/
and u must exactly keep a folder file structure. better use card reader.

but the software did its work ;) ...probably restart the phone.

now try sending bigger files (for eg. any MP3 song sized 5mb or more) via bluetooth.

The path is now changed to E: (chip memory)

...do remember to empty the inbox before installing the application**

hi mate, ngage can handle only zip files with app ZIPMANN, u can open zip files,extract and make new zip package. u can also use profiexploer (come with profimal) to open zip files and jar files too.

for using jar files u dont need any special software, just send it to ngage over usb cable or bluetooth and run it with some filemanager (FEXPLOER, PROFIEXPLOER, SELEQ etc.) if u use nokia pc suite to load jar files, u will need jad files too and u must send both files to phone and then pc suite will install files automaticly.

Hi...
You do not need to convert rar or jar files. Just open rar files with a PC program called WinRAR (search it in google) and you'll find the games/apps inside it. Whereas jar files, they are java games/apps so simply send them to your phone and they will begin the installation.

some files for downloading here ends on txt, bcz u cant post file with .exe,.zip,.sis (or some other extension) directly on this site.
its forbitten fom site settings. So if u want to post any sis files,
just rename (or add) a txt extension in names of files (for example game.sis -> game.sis.txt)

DCT its some nokia marking for different class of phones. DCT-2 is first generation of nokia phones (3310,5110 etc.) DCT-4 is newer models (6610,7110,ngage).

principal difference is in firmware in phone, some hw (color deep,lcd resolution etc.) and u MUST use right soft (flasher) for unlocking it.

But when I try to run it, I get the "SYSTEM ERROR" message, and that`s it, nothing else. It was installed in the phone memory, and after that on the MMC too, it doesn`t work no matter what I do. I have a 3650 and I was looking for this program for so long. So I found it here (many thanks Drug Store), and I installed it. But when I try to run it, I get the "SYSTEM ERROR" message, and that`s it, nothing else. It was installed in the phone memory, and after that on the MMC too, it doesn`t work no matter what I do. Can you help me, please? It`s possible for this error to be generated by an old firmware? I have V 2.41. What`s the latest? Thanks.

Hi! I have a n3230,the phone came with a chat app.The only problem is that i don't know how to set it up so i can chat on yahoo or hotmail.It askes for server settings(like server name,web address...)Do you have any idea what is the address of yahoo or hotmail server?I know i can use another app than the default "chat" of the phone but since it came with it i was thinking to use it.Plus this phone has the unusual tendency to restart all by itself alot and almost to all the new app I install on it.Any ideas?!:confused: Thanks
