Here's are some Application that will solve your problem. Message Saver & Message Storer will enable you send your messages onto your PC.


Since you're going to format i've also included an application called SmartvCard. This little app will allow you to save all your contacts into 1 file that you can tranfer to your PC, then back into the fone after formating.

it happens for me to.When I open the total IRRemote .sis (taken from this forum) file in my 6600 mobile, nothing happens. The message 'installing' comes for a moment and then goes away. This happens only for the IRemote full application. Other apps are successfully installing.
Any help is highly appreciated. :confused:

your sis file must be corrupted, try some other irremote.

hi gaurav,

there's a simple solution to ur prob.

to take backup on ur memory card for your msgs. on phone memory, do this:

1.firstly let the default storing space on ur messaging option be phone memory.
2. then go to settings-->phone-->general & activate original phone settings(it'll ask for code & then enter 12345 or 0000 - as i don't actually remember).
3. after the settings are restored, the phone will restart. now go to messages-->options-->other & change ur storage space to mmc. it'll ask u "copy all messages to phone memory?"
just say yes.
tht's it, it'll copy all ur messages to mmc.

as for contacts there's an ultimate software called 'backup contacts'.

i think this still doesn't solve gauravs24's prob, since he wants to backup his previously received msgs (not those msgs that he will be receiving). unfortunately, i do not know any applications that could transfer old msgs from phone to MMC or vice versa.

To transfer all your message from phone to MMC, 1st install the msvdrivee but dun activate the program, then copy all files on c:/system/apps/mail to e:/system/apps/mail then only activate the msvdrivee, after all message is copied, see weather the message icon changed to MMC icon or not, if changed, congratulation all your message is copied to MMC and u can delete all files on c:/system/apps/mail

However we compiling most of apps and games we can get and making the available for our forum users (http://www.drugstore.gsmhosting.net/Forum/). Each month we have been releasing a pack with games and apps.

To get even with you all, and to excuse my lack of time and attention to this topic, well visit my forum and read this thread (http://www.drugstore.gsmhosting.net/Forum/showthread.php?t=275) (must be registered) or get them from here -> http://www.drugstore.gsmhosting.net/Files/Extras/Symbian6_7/

There will always be the latest 2 months packages, older we delete. (this month we didn´t deleted the February package yet, but we will.)

Please, don´t post direct links outside the site, we are protected agains leeching and hotlinking anyway. But we might consider protect the file with registry number provided by us.

Sorry for all, and enjoy... I usually not forget, it´s only about the free time.

I've used all those applications that i posted to backup my messages and contacts, in fact i still do.

Don't worry they're all save free of any viruses. You can however do you own virus scan to double check and be sure. One think i can tell you is that there is no guarantee with third party applications.

Install a pack once and uninstall to install another. Or choose other folder to install.

This can happen because by default it install to ...\Program Files\Drug_Store\
In Feb2005.exe should get:

Hi drugstore, sorry for bothering you. i have a question. There are many call recording s/w for 6600. But in all these, a beep comes every 5 seconds when recording. Is there any way to OFF this beep or is there any voice recording s/w that do not beep every 5 seconds while recording.

Ok so the latests news is that we will add a contents file, which contains description of the package files. Other new, is that from now on, no need to uninstall or install on different folder. On coming packs, instead of installing to ...\Program Files\Drug_Store\ will be ...\Program Files\Drug_Store\May2005\ or ...\Program Files\Drug_Store\June2005\ and so on. So all will be installed by month name inside Drug_Store folder.

This is why we like to receive feedback about our work, this way we can improve it and make it better or less buggy.

The object of Volleyball is to win volleyball match with jelly boy. Control your jelly boy using buttons. You can define more convenient buttons for control. Jelly boy contacts the ball and his body follows it to target.

Use this application, you can terminate the game without having to restart your phone. This app is more like TASK MANAGER, the program that appears when you press and hold Ctrl+Alt+Del on your PC to kill the "Not Responding" programs.

if you have stacker app, you can also use this. just press the red button (button used to hang-up), then go to stacker and look for the app, press stop. stacker can also compressed apps and files, thus increase your memory. so i really recommend it.

if you have fexplore or any similer explorer then go to c:\system\bootdata & then remove first boot.dat and then restart your device and set time & date your error is gone

I like this screensaver and i followed the instructions about changing the date then entering the code. Now it looks a registered full version, however it doesnt do anything. I left it hours without seeing any scren saver. I went through all the settings and still nothing.

I have a nokia 6630, could it be because of the model?

I'm not sure but i don't think that's possible. You can however get an applicatio that will protect your media folder, that way no one can access the folder where your videos are. I can't remeber the name of that app but it has been posted many times on this forum. If i may ask why do you want to protect only your *.avi videos.

Yes this is a good idea, I had a software that would make this very easy... will look for it and make this possible. From now on, all packs will have a release note with description of files inside.

Thanx for the advise but you have to remimber that some applications cannot be terminated using your suggestion. On of them is FExplorer. And the other thing is Switcher will also help him with similar problems should they appear in the future.

the problem is "Black List v1.02" it doesn't work with my Nokia 7610. although I tried this software on another set and its working but not working with my 7610. I activated and put a contact on black list but its still recieves the call from that contact. what shall I do?

1:Extract the the file rar u will have two files ( mobiluck and MobiLuck OverWrite_DotSiS sis)

2:Extract and install mobiluck 3.02 to ur phone on the card (E) not the phone memory

3:Install mobiluck OverWrite_DotSIS.sis ..........

4:instal mobiluck 3.02 again . it will aske to replace the exciting one .

5.go in the options menu n activate the premium version...it asks for a key.

6.press ok n the key is there....press ok again n u have the full version...

But the reason i was looking for something like stacker is that i got a game from this forum called SIMBSOFT VOLLEYBALL and it seems that i am the only one who had the problem with the exit button and other few buttons. Basically it crashes and then even if you click any other button nothing happened. So the only solution is manually switching off the phone then switching on again

Even STACKER couldnt solve this because you cant access it from the point where the game stops.

i'm not sure if addressing the issue of the APP CLOSED MAIN will help solve your prob, but if it does then good coz i can probably help you on how to solve the APP CLOSED MAIN (which i read somewhere).

1 -- Go to FEexplorer then delete the FirstBoot.dat located at C:\System\Bootdata
2 -- Turn off your phone
3 -- Take out your MMC
4 -- Turn on, set the time and date, wait for all the "startup" apps to run
5 -- Turn off your phone
6 -- Insert the MMC back
7 -- Turn on again

i think there's also a risk that some of your downloaded apps will not work, which you need to download again. backup your phone to your MMC and restore afterwards. but if the problem still resist, then you have no choice but to manually input everything and redownload. but hey, i guess sending and receiving SMS is more important... otherwise, its pointless to have a mobile phone... :)

I really don't have the idea of which handset you are using. But I am did have the same problem with my 6600. I tried everything but in :( In the end they had to reinstall the OS and it works fine for me. I did get the latest OS so I lost a lot but I did get some thing new.
I hope reinstall will be your last resort.

Cannot install APR and MAR collection. Installer reported to download a newer version of windows installer. It runs under WIN 2000 SP4. I followed the instruction above, I downloaded several times the files but I never received a bad cheksum error...

Here you can see list of messages. All unheard messages are shown in Bold font. Messages without message file are shown red (e.g. if message file itself was removed with a file explorer outside SmartAnswer).

In this view you can play a message, call the person who has left the message immediately. When message is being played you may change its volume by joystick (left/right).

Note: for storing messages we use AMR sound format. This format is highly compressed and best suits answering machine needs especially taking into consideration the fact that Smartphone is limited in disk space.

You can get detailed message information here by selecting message properties. Here you can see message status (heard, unheard), call date/time, left message duration, whole call duration, name of the caller (if his/her name was found in your contacts), phone number (if determined), and file name where this message is stored now.

There are some more commands in advanced menu: Refresh - refreshes list of messages, delete message, delete all messages and pack messages. When packing all messages without corresponding message file are deleted (they're shown red)

- Greeting message. This is the file played when the answering machine picks up the receiver. You may select your file with built-in file browser, record a message file right here, replay the message. When playing the message you can change the message volume by joystick (left/right)
- Disk for recording incoming messages. For Nokia 7650 it's drive c only.
- 'Pick up after' option. Here you can define time (mm:ss) when answering machine has to pick up the receiver.
- 'Max. length' option. Here you define max. length of the incoming message. After this time answering machine hangs up the receiver automatically.

Having setup finished press Done. To cancel the changes made press Options/Cancel.

Ok so the latests news is that we will add a contents file, which contains description of the package files. Other new, is that from now on, no need to uninstall or install on different folder. On coming packs, instead of installing to ...\Program Files\Drug_Store\ will be ...\Program Files\Drug_Store\May2005\ or ...\Program Files\Drug_Store\June2005\ and so on. So all will be installed by month name inside Drug_Store folder.

This is why we like to receive feedback about our work, this way we can improve it and make it better or less buggy.

U can access Yahoo via POP but u hv to pay for that, whereas GMAIL provides free pop access, so that with the help of PROFIMAIL software for series 60, u can access ur mails on the move if u hv ACTIVE GPRS connection.

Because they contain an important element wich is the EQUALIZER (like the version 2.15)...
Don't need to tell you that the quality of the sound with an equalizer is consequent!

That's true the design of the new versions is better...but you prefer the quality
of the sound or the player's design?
Concerning the other players like Ultra MP3 it's the same thing...no equalizer...
Be free now to choose what you want...

Just go to control panel = > Wireless link
then see the attached picture file & follow the instructions.
option 2 => USE PC Suite
Option 3 ( Last option )=> If u r able to send file with other extensions,
then rename ur picture file from 123.jpg to 123.dat & then send

There is no 3d accellaration in ngage unfortunatelly. 7610 is just slower and the sound quality is not the same.

SimWorks AV 1.21 posted is actually 1.02(1) when installed so the latest is still SimWorks 1.18, there where still no new ver. The 1.21 posted where just edited using hex programs, so the virus definition used is very old.

There wont be a update 4 simworks antivirus 4 while b'coz there is no latest viruses,they only do updates when there is a virus!So now we have to wait until someone writes a new symbian virus then there will be an update!

I am not so sure about it,i have instal that 1.2.1 version,plus there is such virus by that name i even search the whole internet i couldnt find any virus by that name,maybe its a glitch like 1.1.8 version.Have u try instaling it on ur symbian??

I found the virus. try installing Kaspersky 1st (update definitions) then Simworks. The problem is that Kaspersky is a deep scanner and this causes it to scan for scripts that may potentially generate a virus. In this case Kaspersky has got it hopelessly wrong, but still remains the best.

u can hide ur folders by using a file explorer program: SeleQ
