I had the same problem. I reflew U101 (near Sim holder) with flux, and I solved the problem. If it didn't work, replace LTRG or P20D.

Hi,
I do not understand what you meant by :
> Reflew U101 ( near sim holder) with flux, and
> Replace LTRG or P20D.
Please, can you simplify it a bit.

Reflow U101 a circuit near by the sim holder with flux (it is something to make better jonction)
Replace LTRG it is a component with 6 legs near by sim holder... You must know litle bit electronic... Expensive phone.. try on something cheaper
rob flux on ic ,press down and heat leg with soldering iron,u may damage if u use workstation ****er

@segun, u shld know the difference between u100 and u101. u need to be specific with your suggestion. The ideal solution is to change U100.

hi,
guy is good to be more elleborate, and i think i help .
1.the u100 is on the (above) the sim seating ,on the left side of the pcb also the back-up battery is closser to it and its sequare-like with about 21 legs on each side.
2.all u needed to is to place, that is put soldering flux (paste) arround the u100 (legs)
3.with a soldering iron, press this legs (all)to the pcb, this will give good re-soldering.
4.make sure youi are doing this with smoe steady hands, so that you do not solder multiple legs.good luck.
before doing that try to make imei rebuild ,

i will rather advice he uses a rework station, cos he may brigde the ic if he uses soldering iron.
