SME45i MultiSim without_Simcardv1.2 - discussing

hi all!!

i want use patch with name SME45i MultiSim without_Simcardv1.2 and i have a problem with creating block num 5003 with siemens eeprom tools. i have siemens eeprom tools 3.15 and this tool doesnt open a *.tid file. :confused:

any idea to make a block 5003 by manual listed in patch?

Make only .txt file and load it.
Program will ask you the other infos after loading it.

BTW, you have to insert IMSI and KI in .txt block, did you make it?

@lalo.lerry: could you convert this patch for sl45 v56? we already have one made by Konca but the menu structure is borrowed from one of the games in the phone. It would be better if we have a separate menu for Multi SIMs.

Sorry, but:
1.S45i actual version has still some bugs in new menu names and structure
2.I really don't think to be so GOOD to adapt it without testing on SL45 and checking RAM areas
3.SL45 has a lot of very good patchers (+ the best one, the MASTER)

lalo, can u explain me what is this patch for? what are the advantages it brings? cause i want to use it, but im not sure what it is for! please.. give me a clue. ill be awaiting your or someone's answer. :) c ya

the patch lets you use 3 different numbers using only one ordinary sim card instead of using a green card or a gold card that is able to handle multiple numbers. The SL45 or SME45i will replace the greencard instead. It is useful if you have 2 or 3 different numbers and you only have one unit cellphone. You can switch between numbers using the patch. The problem is you have to use a sim card reader to get the KI and IMSI of the simcard that you want to use. And for now, only old version simcards (v1) can be copied by simcard readers. We are all hoping that KONCA will be able to push through with his project of using our SUPER CELLPHONE SL45 :) to be the simcard reader.

IMSI i can get throught sscg 103, or other program. and KI? i havent sim card reader/writer to make a SIM card with 2/more operators - my trouble :( does go this patch with 1 operator (original) SIM card?

IMSI: you can get it from many phone manager programs

KI: you need SIM card reader, SIM scan program and a SIM (with A3,A8 ciphering algorithm). Usally old ones (2 years old +, 8-16-32K) are right.
Konca is studying on SL45 a way to extract KI by phone (good for all SIMs) - hope he will menage it!

I am still studying for employing SL45i as sim card reader.

I succeed in cheating "sim_scan" now. And the whole procedure of extracting KI only takes 3 minutes!
(I use virtual com port driver to do that).
The above is the "Left Part".

The next step is to "Ask SL45i to do a A3A8 caculation and Get the result", and I named it the "Right Part".

It need the knowledge about "message driven mechanism" of the OS of SL45i.

So can I choose which I use for calling out each time ?
So I'm reachable on both numbers ?
I guess this will only work with the same provider or ?

- yes, 2 to 16 different numbers in one simcard

-you will only be reachable on ONE number at a time, whichever you activate at the time of the incoming call

-it works with all provifers, even if you copy different numbers from different providers into the Multisim.

Really? I've sim_scan, I can't read KI on SIM card via SL45. Or you have a new version of "sim_scan" can do that?

Means that, that people can reach me e.g.
via number 1 (privat) provider xy
via number 2 (business) provider ab
of course not in the same moment,
but I do not have to switch something or to do something ?

Did you mean, that I have to choose which number is reachable ?
My problem is that I have two different numbers (privat and business) and each by a other provider. Normally if I want to be reachable on both numbers, I have to have two mobile phones, and of course I will not call on both in the same time.
So does this MultiSim solve my problem ?
But if I have to switch between the two numbers for to be reachable, than it isn't what I'm looking for, because who knows when he will get a call on which number ?

I also have 2 different numbers with different operators. The Multisim CANNOT solve your problem.
Ive asked Konca if he can make SL45 use 2 different numbers ON simultaneously because it handles 2 lines. I think he is busy now working on improving the KVSIM patch
