i screwed up the eeprom on my CF62T phone. I have a v85. I was using the eeprom tool and i screwed something up. i clicked load all under phones eeprom blocks and now my phone won't power up, it beeps but dosn;t power up..
when i use FREIA CF62 ptach sEBA!GSM i get the following. how can i restore the eeprom, i have a backup .eep file.
the eeprom tool does not want to connect to the phone anymore, can anyone help me.

i just had to learn how to use the eeprom tool... thank *** i made a back up. now whats this about unlocking a v85 phone by using logs and maps. i am a newbie i have been reading lots on this forum and i need some pointers.
right now you do not need eeprom tool
you need to cut test point of your cf62t
find full flash i sow somewere in forum link for this full
use freia 10 or 15 flash phone full lfash like m55
after that flash eeprom and use >direct unlock no map is saved<
you do not need maps like in 65 series
but firts of all read only original eeprom of your phone
that is because my be after flash contrast of display will be damaged
i think that your phone is v84 or v85 there is no matter which version will be full flash (v7.v11.v12) just after taht flash your original eeprom from v84 or v85
your right, my phone is a v85
is there anyway i can unlock it without cutting test points? i would hate to screw up this phone permenantly. the martech box is too expensive, i only have the one phone. i searched about downgrading-- but that dosn't work, the phone rejects the update, i tried to use the "CF62/CF63/CF6C UpdaateTool v. 1.08" from seimens.

i dunno what kind of file this program needs/i am too dumb to figure out how to use it. i downloaded a fullflash file for v7 11 and 12 from landys site and tried to use that with the FlashProgrammer but it sais "There are no software releases available in [the folder where i saaved the full flash]"
i tried to flash the phone with a Winswup32 variant "cf62129111_service.exe", but that leads to an error "Software update denied by mobile"
i want to ask you question about proceadure.
1 - cut the test point
2 - backup full eeprom
3 - full flash to v7 or 11 or 12 using freia 15
4 - then whaat? use freia to direct unlock or something else
5 - restore eeprom if display contrast is broken
