So here's my query...after I unlocked my CF62T (by getting the code from TMo), I thought that I would be able to log onto any signal. However, I can only log onto Tmobile signals, not ATT/Cingular signals (which are stronger and more abundant). After popping a friends ATT Sim in the phone and seeing that it could then log on to ATTs tower, I assume now that the network is SIM locked. The reason I want to log onto ATT is because when I go up to northern WI, ATT is the only signal, and I can't log on.
Is there anyway to bypass this on the SIM? Would cutting the TP help at all? Or is there anything else I can do (besides switching providers of course)?
