View Full Version : Siemens C55 java unlock and testpoint?
Hi. I've tried some 'java unlockers' but all without success. It obviously need some electronic intervention to work (what you call testpoints). Can you help me with your experience? Where can I find the testpoint diagram? And which programs do work with them? Thanks in advance.
Check if your C55 has v24...
If so, then you have to do this:
Use standard cable with Tx Rx Gnd, but for MAX232 use V+ less than 5v.
Just try to reduse V+ to Max232 untill phone is connected and unlocked.

V24 means Version 24? If so, then it doesn't.
It came with an original RS232 cable.
hehe, that is your problem. You CAN NOT do it with original RS-232 data cable. You need a non original or modified original or USB cable...
I've tried once with 4 batteries (6V) connected to pins 1 and 2 (if I remember right) of data cable, but it didn't work. I have everything needed to modify this cable. Just don't know what to do. Can you help again? And... Thanks!

I've tried a suggestion on a german site. It said to connect a 5V power supply to pins 1 (+) and 1 (gnd) of phone connector. It seems to have worked, as freia could run it's 'direct unlock without map..' procedure until it reached O.K.
But I still cannot navigate phone's folders. Nor with SiMoCo neither with Data Exchange Software. Do you thing I need to testpoint?

no test point is needed to conect phone with SiMoCo or SDE...
explorer does not show anything. Nor DES. It must bu the cable problem. Can you send me the diagram? Thanks.
