Siemens decide to publish SVN 14, but not yet the V15
anyway download your Variant from siemens official site here (http://communications.siemens.com/com.aperto/MySiemens/Files/Specials/hq/SX1_Upgrade_v14/main.html)
Yes it's true but with little mistakes from Siemens.
I'm from Greece.
When i choose Greece variant the file is steel v12. But when select International everything is ok (v14).
I think that siemens technician must take more care on this.

oh a lot (i'm talking about SVN15 non-official) but the official one i didn't tried yet
the most important imrovements of the FW15 is the newest version of the Mp3Player but you still can leave the current FW and update only the Mp3Player
and i think it's more stable

My FW 15 still crashed 2 times without a reason.
I think FW 14 is more stable.
Also FW 14 runs faster (tested with SP Mark 04).
I didnt notice any improvements on FW 15 besides the ringtones are a bit louder...

the sound is lowder but you can use stefanoG patch to patch it
and there's also the version of MP3PLAYER and Video Recorder are updated but you can still get them wihout updating here (http://www.siemens-mobiles.org/forum/index.php?topic=396.0)

Yes, thatīs the place for v14, but after getting there very few variants are available on v14... the rest stills v12.:(

yea we know but i think they are working on that because yesterday, i was chacking the french siemens site and the FW07 that was online, i refreshed the page and oops it 's gone, so hope we can see all variant of the FW14 & FW15 also

Yeah, for now I think only variants with UK-DE-FR or UK-DE-IT are updated to v14... they must be doing it by parts and languages.

Is it possible to update a UK/DE/RU with an UK/DE/FR firmware?

no you must downgrade to any unofficial uk-de-fr, and then update to the official one
