what software and cable to use for unlock/imei change on D500,
i have V200 cable, will this do, and i have E700 cable also
im also looking for the solution!!!!!!!!!!

hi guys , i bought a d500 out of the loot , it's orange branded , and worked fine for a few days , then limited service with my o2 sim , tried vodafone and orange , o2 and orange both say limited service and vodafone gets signal but wont make or recieve calls ....thus meaning the handset is barred yes i know BUT i have the latest type of T-mobile pay as u go simcard (the type that dont work in the nec616v when unlocked due to either some sim profile or sim voltage issue )anyways i popped this in and wolaa ... makes / recieves calls /txts /mms + bluetooth all fine ...anyone else come across this ? , ok it might only be a TEMP solution (its working alot better now than it was 5mins ago collecting dust!!) in given time till talented individual codes up some soft (ahum!!) .. post your results those who have a t-mobile simcard bought in the last month say

Each phone has the unique IMEI, Serial, & Bluetooth numbers, matched each other.When you write IMEI number, you have to use the one & only matched Bluetooth number.Unique Bluethooth nubmer is checked by keystring (*#232337#) or by AnySVC searching.
This its information that Samsung give for IMEI change on D500.So its not so simple to change IMEI on D500 phones.

Why don't you try to read/search the forum? The answer is posted many times!
The code will only unlock the first version(s) of D500, but not newer versions.

They have quick delivery.
I will receive the cable tomorrow (Monday).

The problem is that I don't have time to Make cable.
About soft, I think the WinImei is the best one.

1. how did you know what to change the bluetooth number to

All new WinIMEI programs requires that you are connected to Samsungs Database and have a login and a PWD... but i'm on my way to crack it.

Guys, if you have an older WINIMEI such as A800, simply copy & paste the D500 WINIMEI files into that directory and run it!!!
100% working for me :)
Then using keygen, creat your login and away you go ;)

also this specific d500 enters in TAT mode only after 23 seconds or more and nothing happens when i press power on in corona

Can someone mail me the wright program to flash an orange D500 with the original firmware. I have the cable (the one withe the 9V battery and the firmware) but corona will not work. It does not recognize the phone.

Well i'll say u reserve that E700 cable... Take another, for me took A200 unsoldered all the wires on it.... Took a look at the pinouts and in less than 3 mins i was done.. unlocked 1 and flashed 3 all working fine...

it seems to me that most people by now no how to unlock the d500 but people have no idea how to change the imei on them we just keep going round the block people are posting unclear info on how to do it but none of them work if this lad on here does crack the d500 imei change program so it dont need to link up with the online service then far play but as it is comeon lads and ladys we dont have a clue about this one . :(

It worked!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally flashed my d500.
Happy to have lost the orange firmware.
My mistake was that i didn't put the battery (9V) on the cable.
So happy now.

My friend 07heaven breezes through on Xp like a dream.
But for the hell of it, mine just wouldnt, instructions followed to the T.
Put it through on Win98 - it works like a dream.

If you convert the orginal samsung V200 cable , there is no need for extra 9V battery, the cable have enough power to Flash ( for 40 mins) with corona, unlock, read unlock codes and repair the imei with the winimei software.
Tested and sold many many cables
The pinout can be found on this forum, if anyone need some orginal samsung V200 cable( very good price), you can e-mail me . I also sell the orginal converted D500 cable.

D500 imei isnt exactly difficult, all you need is the d500 winimei (somwhere in the forum and the code generator (also in forum). You have to copy the code generated from winimei into the code generator, press generate to get a code ant copy back into winimei, done

ps as far as I know all the bluetooth stuff is sorted out, someone has suggested you need a genuine working imei for all the checsums to work out and match, either way anyone trying it out please let us know

I guess that com port rx pin goes to pin 5(Tx) and tx goes to pin 6(Rx) and ground goes to 8 and 11. Right or wrong :confused:

ANYSVC is samsung website for authorized service centers.. and you can't get access. Access only for service centers authorized by samsung. Login is bouded to a specific ip address so sharing login is impossible.

can you use a tmobile sim card without problems... or NO sim cards..
if you can use tmobile then your phone needs to be unlocked.. if you cant use any sim cards then it needs to be UNBLOCKED in that case are you the legal owner of the phone....

Where to connect the 9Vbattery + and - signs to make flash cable.
I guess that com port rx pin goes to pin 5(Tx) and tx goes to pin 6(Rx) and ground goes to 8 and 11. Right or wrong :confused:
