Hi all... I've great problems with my CX65 & Usb original cable 540...
1) often when I plug the cable into the phone and I type *#06# I can see at the end of second page "plugged in DCA-540". Other tymes instead, when I plug the cable, on the top of display the cell shows "TTY" and in *#06# it only show "plugged in". The first case, I've on my Windows ME 2 devices, one USB device and a Siemens Usb Modem ( virtual COM4 ). :) In the second case, I've only a USB device but I cannot find a correct driver fot this... When the cell shows TTY, there isn't a virtual COM, so no program can work...
2) I downloaded CX65_250100_xbz_tool.exe from my-siemens.com, when my phone says "plugged in DCA-540" the exe give me an error of "type 505". When phone says only "plugged in", the tool says "no COM4".
3) Fortunately I've been able to patch the bootcore with the Chaos midlet... ok. But now, when I try to use V_Klay or X65Flasher and I try to clock on "connect" of the program... my computer freezeeeeee!!! if the phone says "plugged in DCA-540" and it's on. When the phone is off or it says only "plugged in" with TTY, the programs cannot find the virtual COM... :(
