Hi,
Just had a few pieces Samsung D500 for unlock on UK orange.......
Simple, Suprised it wasn't already posted on the forum....
Switch phone on without sim and enter :-
#*7337#
Then phone will reset ... and it is unlocked....

I have one from UK and I living in Vietnam. I suprise when inserting a Vinaphone SIM, it's OK and with Mobifone SIM: the network rejects any outgoing and incoming calls. Vinaphone and Mobifone are two bigest network in Vietnam, they are GSM network and same frequency too (900/1800). I tried with many SIM, but the only Vinaphone SIM OK. Some service shop in my area said that: The phone is newest and there isn't any one in Vietnam before. The representative office of Mobifone take my phone in hours, but he can not.
I think it's locked phone, follow your instruction, nothing changed.
Please, help me!

I didnt even think to try those codes :eek: I turned away 2 of those so far for unlocking :( tried reading as E700 with UST etc but nothing, this solution is great but some customers dont want to lose data :mad:

This code doesn't work with all phones, I have tried many times.
I don't know what the problem is???

Does anybody have the Pinout for this D500, I don't think the cabls is same as e700, because everytime put the cable, tells me "Charging".

Switch on

See if that resets & unlocks ur fone
It works on older s/ware versions of the D500

To enter the #*7337# code
switch fone on with no sim inside and Type #*7337#
But this code only works on 2005 models
