I have a Sl45i,and 540mA pin.I used it about 1 year.Now it have battery pin problem.When I pick up calling or call to someone,my phone display" empty battery,pls recharge".What's this problem? When I used Sensor Tool to recheck but don't connect to my phone.Is it hardware or software's phne?Can anybody help me to repair it? I like Siemens handphone.Therefor I want to repair it by myself. *** luck to everyone.

Of course,if I have a new Sl45,I think it is fun.But I want to know why the phone has a this mistake.Can you help me?

I think you used your phone about 1 year, and you often listen MP3, so your battery need to replace.
If Sensor Tool cannot connect to phone, I think that you already applied a patch which speedup connected speed between PC and sl45 from 19200 to 115000. Pls undo this patch.

Moreover, you shouldn't use Sensor Tool to reset values of battery, or you should backup eeprom before to do that in order to restore original eeprom (include battery values). You should search in this forum about "battery problem", or "sensor tool" to read some posts before, you'll learn more about battery problem.

with sl45 I'm sure that you often listen to MP3, so battery life is shortened. I've sl45 more 1 year and I bought 2 new batteries for it.

Thanks,Sl45vietnam.I don't like to listen MP3 on handphone.I think this problem isn't correct.I replace new battery,charge full battery(4.2VDC).Afterthat I must to put it into my phone...I only use it on a day,when I pick callin up or for calling, it display:'battery emty,pls recharge".Maybe It have mistake about hardware.I want to know some information for this problem.Can anybody help me?

You may try to apply new "clean" eeprom and form the battery again. I mean empty the battery and charge it for about 15 hours. Repeat that 3 times. It helped me solve the problem with my battery.

I used WINSWUP for Sl45i to upgrade phone again.I think my phone had clean EEPROM by this method.I charged full new battery,I retested it by VOM.I had value 4.2VDC.But I only used it about a day while I didn't attach MMC.My phone has been used before.When phone display"Emty battery,Pls recharge",I tested it by VOM,I had value 3.8VDC.Normally with this value, my phone until operate to emty battery(bellow 3.6VDC).I don't understand mohammad2004 of method.Pls me again...

No, you didn't have clean eeprom afrte winswup, bacause winswup doesn't affect eeprom. It only as if cleans the phone of the patches. You need to apply eeprom by yourself with V_Klay or Unisiemens and try to do what I have written in my previous post.

Well, if it isn't software problem we can try one more trick. You need to apply this patch:

Check if the problem takes place when you set band for 1800. You can also chek 900. this will give you some info whether your hardware isn't damaged. If it masy happen that after setting to one of the bands your phone won't be able to get the net signal, you will know for sure that it is a hardware problem and you need to replace "the power end" - I'm not sure if it is called this way in English.

I used V-klay to apply this patch.I changed any band seletor but didn't regconize problem.I didn't understand "power end" which use for?Maybe this problem is bad power Tx-Rx Circuit..!Do you have any Sl45i schematic?I think I need it but I didn't find it now.What a pity! Can you help me...Thanks

I think, this is problem with PA (Power Amplifier). You must use hot air and heat this part (http://mrk.siemensinfo.pl/siem_sl45_1.jpg).
