I noticed this behaviour long time ago but I didn't find any way to fix this. Maybe it occours only on my phone (some patches that collades). Therefore I need info that the problem is common or not :)

So small description:
The patch works perfectly if phone isn't keylocked. But if keylock is set. Then the sound for incoming Status Report is repeated all the time (a loop of maybe 5 sound events) and then the sound for normal SMS is played and after this it's quiet ;)

Any suggestions?

First behaviour is "normal". I have it too, on my phone.

Second behaviour... I don't remember experiencing it. So, I guess it's somethign with your phone. Sorry I can't help any more.

I have the same patch and there is no problem. What's more, I can say that noone reported such a bug on the Polish forum I write on.

I've got no problem. It works perfect. Maybe you have applied some patch that collides with DRS...

Just to bring it at top, any reports now? I removed several patches but problem still there.

If I got the status report with setted keylock it starts to repeat sound 5-7 times and at last the sound for normal SMS will be played. :(

Are you sure, that this patch makes problem? I'd rather suspect USI3.

I have similar list of patches, but it's hard work patching them all - so I made my personal super-fubu and flashed all 6MB at once.

Question: if you have only DRS patch applied, the problem doesn't occur?

Yes I tried to repatch them all - real horror. There are tons of self made selections and options. Hard nut. So I used my old backup Fubu.

But I wrote a small programm that ads all patches for each folder (as you see in my list) into one patch. So I have one great patch for Grafiks and Pictures annother for all SMS stuff and so on. That's the best way imho to manage the tons of patches.

No I haven't tried yet. But if the problem is still there after that it seems to be the operator - yes I know sounds impossibe but the there was a problem with the RAaS patch. It worked perfectly with my o2 provider but later I tested with D2 and there was a blank screen that forced me to press red button again to get in idle screen.

I used my first virgin fubu (from SL42 to SL45 without Java)
Then applied DSR - worked, okay "o2 can do" (a bit of advertising)
But I looked what is happening during the whole progress of typing and sending an SMS in original fw and my patched one

Except of differences in font style and SMS Animation (the original is SOOO ugly!)

My deepest apologizes. I wasn't succesfull. I think I rebuild me whole fubu. Maybe it was damaged once a time I don't know any way out.

As far as I understand assembler DB00 means a RETURN in a sub routine, isn't it?
CC00 is like remark.

If I understand you correctly, the DRS patch works properly on the original firmware? So it's best to put on your patches not all at once but maybe 20 or 30 at a time. Then test after each patch package. If it's still working after your last applied patch, it might have been some beta patch or similar. (I had such a thing one time, only half the display was visible. Still don't know why or which patch it was.)

Yes, DB00 is the C166 Assembler code for (far) return. The far means that it is a return after a far call (that means a jump difference for more than 4000(?) Bytes). So in most patches this is the return code.
CC00 is a NOP (no operation). It does nothing but byte eating. Great function for remarking commands by overwriting them with NOPs.

But hope last question to DRS now. If there is an active status report and I receive a normal message I hear the tone of the CB profile. Can anybody check this now

Are 100% sure that you set all the sounds as they schoul be? I have all the patches, form your previous request and I don't have any problems with the sounds. They work as they should. Maybe you forgot to change the sounds in profile settings?

I changed the sounds.
One for Normal SMS
Other for CB

I just removed the patch. I doesn't work for me :(
I tested the patch with all graphical changes, APP menu, SOL3 + LOL, Funny Display....

and there was this strange quatro beep...
Nothing more to say, nothing more to add. I don't know why this happens.

Mayb it is your hardware... if you wish I can provide you with a link to my software and you could test it if ithe problem remains or it disappears. You could then compare the patches installed and mayby this way find the source of the problem.
