Phoenix 46_4_75 won't install with my PKD-1. I tried a newly install WInXP SP1 then Install Phoenix 46_4_75 but says " pls insert dongle" and it wont continue installing anymore...
BUt it installs or runs or works OK with the previous phoenix 39_7_70 and no problems...
Anybody encounter same problem as mine... BTW my PKD has 5 digits..
maybe Nokia has done something new again to their phoenix soft as PBB is also using this soft now...

Fourth multi protocol (including support for CDMA, GSM, TDMA and WCDMA) Phoenix Service Software version 2004.46.4.75 has been released.
Before installing this new Phoenix Service Software version 2004.46.4.75 it is mandatory to uninstall all old Phoenix versions (A14 2004.16.5.47 or “B” 4.35 or “C” 1.50.012 versions).
Procedure:
1. Open Windows Control panel
2. Select “Add/Remove programs”
3. Select e.g. “Phoenix Service Software A”
4. Uninstall old Phoenix versions
5. Install new Phoenix 2004.39.7.70
This procedure is necessary because 2004.46.4.75 and newer Phoenix versions use new installation package compared to the older A, B or C packages.
Uninstallation is not required when previous release 2004.39.7.70 is updated to version 2004.46.4.75
SO this is jut update for 2004.39.7.70 ,so you must have installed this version then update with this new,OK?
it works in my pkd1 normal try to remove all phoenix components first and then install the phoenix u want.... gud luck

Hi,
Your problem is the 5 digits dongle. For the latest versions of Phoenix could run only with 6 digits dongle.
If U want to run this versions U have to change your dongle to a 6 digits one.
