Hello,

I am totaly new to CDMA unlocking, but VERY VERY good with GSM unlocking.

So I want some advice, what is a good software for: (AND with CABLES!!!)

-Nokia CDMA phones (2275, 3586i, 6585, 6225, 3205i)
-Samsung CDMA phones (SPH-a660, SPH-a600, SPH-a680, SPH-a460, SCH-a670, SCH-A650, SPH-a540)
-Audiovox CDMA phones (8920T, CDM 8615, CDM-8450, CDM 8910, CDM 8600, CDM 8500, CDM-8900)
-LG CDMA phones (TM-250, 5550, 5400, 6190, 5450, 3200, 6070, 4600, 5450)
-Sanyo CDMA phones (SPH-8100)
-Motorola (C341, V120, V710, T731c)
-Kyrocera CDMA phones (K494, Slider (SE-47))

Please advise on what is good and what is not good. Any links to CDMA tutorial websites would be nice.

Some Questions:

what is the lock on CDMA phones and how does it work?? What is "locked"?

Remember you phone must ALWAYS be in dm mode to be read by comp.

dm mode = debug mode = menu+9+* in the sam ach-a650

FOR A670 USE SAME...

press key---> 47*68#13580 for test mode------>now
029 for eepromreset, enter 021 and to put the value 00000 now press <OK>,then #, 002... Now use this tool ...
BUT TOOL IS DIFFERENT....

I own a sam spc-a655 with a USB cable. is there a way to change spc/esn with this cable? or I have to make/purchase a serial cable? My cable works with pc-link and qpst...

your cable should work...check the first or second page for software....

Thanks dest! The problem should then be that I'm unable to place my sam a655 in dm mode. I use 47*68#13580 and it shows a -Test PCS- window, but 021 is not a valid command for this phone. The codes seem to be 2 digits long, and 02 is reset and 21 is TEST_S:, that seems to be related to the PCS channel.
Menu+9+* doesn't work also...
Do you know which is the code to place this phone in dm mode?

The only software that will detect this phone is UniCdma...and use password I posted, then press DM on top. After that, any software will detect the phone.

well let me tell u PRL files are network oriented it has nothing to do with any brand or model.
All cdma operators are having there own prl i.e prefered roaming list so it dosent matter ,read prl from any phone of any model ,in your area and u can use it on any phone :)

Thanks for the PM reply.

I tried above numbers codes for my a530, but after entering the code, and trying to enter 029, after I enter 02, it says restart and the phone restarts.

Anyone, can you help? My keypad is locked. That is all I want to do. Unlock the keypad so I can use the phone. What code/software would work? I have the USB data cable bought from VZW.

as above when i tried 029 after 02 it restarts the phone... so i did 29, eeprom reset then i did 21 00000 pressed ok then 02 to reset

i lost all my contacts and can't dial out anymore...

when i try to read the phone using the software provided i get...

Ok, first open qxdm so the phone can go into DM mode...after that close QXDM and use the other software to read phone, but you have to put the password the a670 which is posted here...

ok this solution works to get the spc from the phone but this will not give you the personal user lock and thats what actually other people looking for too
I have 3 phones allready with this problem even my workshop paid version will not read the phone
not cable proble cause all other programs read it so

if some one know a trick to hard reset it please post it
