Dear friends,

If I have a Z1010 with CID29, can I change it to language with CID16?

If yes, with what tool?

Thanks

Kenny

Is this limitation only apply to Z1010? Does K700 have the same limitation too?

The phone is CID29 now and I need to change it to HongKong-Chinese! Any firmware version will do the job ;)

Thanks

1. CID can't be changed since its in OTP area of Flash chip.
2. Z1010 HongKong [en/Hong Kong zh] R1K010

Thanks for your reply :)

The problem is, Davinci server does not have "Z1010 HongKong [en/Hong Kong zh] R1K010" !

Even bigger problem is, the owner of this Z1010 only have access to Davinci server!

any logger or standalone softwares tells you so.

setool2 even not need server for it,just press "read data" ;)

don't know what to press for it in cruiser, in TMS there is a button "read cid"

Attach to the phone, it'll tell you when it's finished initalising the phone.
