Hi all,
This is my first post, but I've been reading this forum for a week. Thanks to the forum I've buyed a C55 USB to Serial cable and modified with two 15K resistors the S65 recognized it as a DCA-510 (not 500, I don't know why).
With this cable I was able to use MPM but not to upgrade firmware.
Reading carefully the upgrade instructions I found that COM por had to be 1 to 9, and I got COM10 in the cable. I changed it in Device manager to COM8 (ignoring windows warnings) and I could then upgrade yesterday.
But I was surprised when discovered that the version I've just installed was the 25 from 11/21/2004 and not the 16 that is the one more comented in the forum: big jump.

I'm posting this hoping it would be useful for someone.

Only One question: Does anybody knows the cable schematic for DCA-540?
Serial cable is too slow for transfering images, Blluetooth is not much better and I want totake advantage of USB capabilities of the phone.

Thanks to all for your great job.
