!!!URGENT!!! t68i firmware upgrading

im trying 2 upgrade my t68i's firmware from R5C001 to R8A015 myself. i recently found a program called "Flashing Gold V450" my question is...

is it possible to flash my t68i with the regular flashing cable designed for the t2x, a2628 and some of the older Ericsson phones? if i do will it damage my t68i?

The program only allows me to select a COM port (1-4) cant t68i's only be flashed with a dongle/box thingy?

flashing gold is based on credits, so u must purchase some.

with that sw you can use normal rs232 cable (t28)

If u want standalone sw to flash it, then u need terminator dongle and any DIV cracked (8.4 for example)

FlashingGold is also a pretty old program!
You'd be better off to get a Terminator Dongle.
