View Full Version : Picture Changer 3 + CX65 : too many errors...
Hi men. I've tried to save the flash of my new CX65 with X65_Flasher 1.035. Everything is ok... ;) The BIN is 32 Mb etc. But... when I try to open this full flash with Siemens Picture Changer 3 3.0.0.0 the program stops responding and crash down everything in my Windows ME... Why? When I've used Picture Changer 2 for X35 & X45 series, all was fine. :( Help me please, what version of SPC I've to use with X65 BINs?
get latest version of SPC3 here (http://www.gsmdev.de/index.php?c=viewprojektinfo&id=33) (beta7)
in x65flasher do not use backup, simply click 'Read Flash' after connecting to the phone. ;)

I use M65 v25 bin (backup using V_Klay v3.1), and SPC 3 beta6 or beta7 can read the file successfully.. in my PC (PIII 933 Mhz, 256 Ram, WinXP SP1).
Pycon, why don't you try make your backup fullflash using V_Klay v3.1 and try again SPC3 beta7 to read your FUBU. (If it crash again, try using WinXP/2000 instead of WinME)
Good idea, I'll try... :p

Yes... it might be! :D
WindowsME.... hmmm.. better use win2000 pro with SP4 or WindowsXP SP1!
Ye I know but I can't use a NT based S.O. like Win 2000 or Win XP because I've some old devices without a driver for these operating systems... :( Too old... For example my old scanner Logitech ScanMan Color 2000. :( I've to use Win ME.

If you have a big harddisk, you can try to install 2 operating system (use boot manager such as Acronis OS selector 8.0). So, u can install a windows 2000 to works with anykind of patching software and use WindowsME to your daily work activities. :D
(I have tried install Win2K into Pentium II 450 with 128 MB SDRAM, it works smoothly..as long as don't install too much software on it)
=just my 2 cents=

How is it possible? SPC2 didn't support X65 series...

Can somebody send me fullflash of SL65?! mysiemens@gmail.com
Thanks
OUT OF TOPIC man... :o
PS SPC2 doen't work anyway. :( Nothing... It seems to be the fubu of my CX65 that crashes SPCx. FUBUs of other old phone, X25, X35, X45 work perfectly... with any version of SPC!
