After 4 months sitting with this clip with promise of update, wait a little longer, little longer, I finally have given up waiting, I sold my clip for half of what I bought it and now I bought a fusion platinum clip instead. Uniclip team really dissapointed me now, Fusion Platinum clip can unlock K700 and VK 207i and New Version LG 8120, 8130 1.02 and 1.03!

All I have from un-clip is rubbish E365 update! which i can unlock with free software.

At least Fusion Platinum clip team seem to respect their customers. I would have been happy to pay for the uni-clip updates, but if the uniclip team doesn't even have the courtesy to answer our e-mails.

I have made a poll, so maybe UniClip team can give us answer, and I would appreciate if everybody would vote.

I feel very sorry for all the uni-clip owner that is not happy with what they have paid, maybe if you all make enough noise, there may be a long awaiting upgrade to come. Only time can tell. Good luck to all the uni-clip owner.

I have a Uni-Clip & it has unlocked several phones fine. As far I know, when I bought it, it was the only clip to unlock the Nokia 7610, Sharp GX30, the Sendo M550 & the LG 81xx. It is easy to be complacent, but I have experienced problems in the past with nearly EVERY type of unlocking device/software that I have bought, Its how you use it & deal with it that matters. I have made my money from this device & I look forward to any updates. ;)

Yes i agree with 'code Breaker', i have unlocked many many phones with this clip, and i'm sure other customers with this clip have done so.
For me i have not had any problems with the clip, done many LG 8110/20, gx15, new nokia's, sendo and samsung e800 e820 and more with one single button and auto detection.
There are also over 25 different cable which can be used as a datacable which is very handy and with other devices.
All in all i have been happy with this device and have easily recovered my money from it.
Look forward to new updates and support.

I dont recall that all those brands were free when I or anyone else I know bought the clip, (or even free now!), if that was so? why would anyone have bought the clip?
When has it ever not been the case that some software has been freed/cracked then released after time?... in general I think people get greedy & always want something for nothing. Thats the type of attitude that usually ends a good thing, & who will suffer? the end user...U & I! As I understand it the some of the networks are trying to stop the unlocking products to put an end to unlocking, what incentive does the inventor/researcher/maker of an unlocking device have in the current times? bearing in mind that there has been a downturn in the mobile phone market in general. I should imagine that it takes a lot of talant to be able to make a Clip or software, for a device such as a mobile phone, that changes on a daily basis... :D

I had the same experience with micheal 2 years ago on the sagem dongle, when the clone was for £30 , i still pay him £100 for a dongle, the reason being he promise his dongle will have upgrades and clone one will not.

The promised upgrade never come, micheal only offer 10 sagem logs per dongle for compensation.

To keep my customer happy, and to keep my reseller promise, i end up refund all my customer and lose over £2500 plus all the wasted time.

I have learn my lesson with micheal.

To all the uni-clip customer, sorry to tell you, i have the insider information that the uni-clip is over.

Already did that........Every time I send it back to fonedoctor, I have to pay for shipping.

Sorry. I'm afraid I don't know whats coming in the updates. Will have to check on Monday with fonedoctor for news.

Simplest and cheapest solution for the k700i is an unlocking cable and a log for one of the servers. PM me if you are interested in one.

Yes, I did register my unit since I bought it from fonedoctor but NEVER get the "FREE NEC CREDITS" or any thing FREE.

We are in North America, therefore, not much NEC phones here.

So UNI-CLIP was a bargin after all! :cool:

Well its now february, and I have decided to speak again.

So far my doorstop is still gathering dust. (UNICLIP)
Even though I have nice nec free logs which i admit is nice, but i can't see my doorstop moving anytime soon. It got picked up off the floor for registration and then chucked back into place. After my free logs are used up then what? we are back in the loop of useless clip, no support.

I want a working updated clip, not compensation in logs. What is the uniclip team going to do? Isn't the idea of an unlocking clip to be a standalone unlocking device, what on earth is the point of using a clip to get logs compensation?

I think the other poll should be removed, i think this poll reflects the situation, we are still moaning, and nothing is coming..

Two years ago mr. philip you was a reseller of sagem 2.3 dongle and when you payed for 20 dongles you said that you want
me to write your company name on sagem web page as a official reseller, to have advertising for your company and your product
and to be sure that you sale your dongles..
You got this for your 20 dongles and after that you paid for 10 more at a cheaper price.. you sold all dongles, but

him or what he done, and i sent him 10 logs for sagem server as support..10 logs/dongle with a value over
50 pounds.. half from dongle value..

Why was in server just your i.p. and 8 other ip there instead of 30 i.P.? This mean that the logs never reach the customers,
you have used them ..After that you was again in my house complaining about support..
You got from me free 30 sagem test point dongle to finish the story and to send one dongle
free to each customer who got sagem 2.3(support)dongle from you.. How many you have sent to
your sagem 2.3(support) customers?..
That if you really had idea who they are, but i done it to finish this story and to hear no more complain from you..
Next step was to sale to you sagem test point.. You start complaining about update again...you got it at a very
small price but your policy was to complain to have all the time a better price for new products,
then you was again in my house asking me to give you in credit motorola clip because you not have money with you..
You got them and when i told you to pay me because i have to pay myself to my supplier you told me that you will stop the
clips until i give you update for sagem dongle..

To finish, I want to say that you paid after one month when you realise the truth...The truth, Mr, philip, was something what
you did know before to wrote what you wrote here, but you had no shame to hide..
The true is that the supplier was your very close friend, ,,the insider,, who told you that uni-clip have no future..
He was in charge with the update for sagem dongle and for uniclip as panasonic x70 clip...
so why you not ask him to refund you, Mr Philip ?

Michael, I think you can talk to ERIC and ask him how many sagem clone dongle we purchase. You will find total of 0, not even one single one.

You can come and collect bag of dongles not sold (over 10 pieces).
We didn't sell clone dongle, and of course there are only 8 ips logged into the server, because by the time you made the offer for compensation, half the dongles already were refunded already.

As we said already, we will see how you make update, and if update is decent, you will have my apology. This argument is now pointless until we see what happens on February the 28th when you have promised this update.

So as i said in my last post, we will wait until then.

I never said you are a bad gsm programmer, but now is time to use your knowledge and make update.

If you have used all 30 nec logs , then you have all your money back for uniclip plus profit.. Take care of your talking clip support then and not spend my time ...It is Uni-clip customers time as well...When you and Phil can offer to your customers 300 pounds free update how i done with nec logs, then open your mouth again here.. I have lost a lot of time fixing hundred of your talking clips...Don't make me angry child, you have a very big mouth and plenty to lose because of that.. They have NEVER been used & remain in the packed state. Never trusted them after the 'Baking of the batteries' came to light.
