it´s very easy just join them (4+5) (8+9+10) in the phone side.

1. I got so angry, i soldiered very bad and managed to connect other pins than instructed, and now it works. My previous was soldierd as instructed and wouldn't work.

2. Battery has to be on when reading codes or flashing, nobody said that, all instructions says REMOVE BATTERY, but never put back.

3. Install VMware (www.download.com), and install win98 and disable acceleration, and loader.exe should open without problems.

Step 3 is a bit complicated.

Target Software :1.EXE
1 x valid registration details including hardware fingerprint for target software, for example le first registred member of

Name : Unlocker
KEY : H8BDE9-01YBY2-0EUAAU-Y2TYCG-ZEQXJ7-BRYCQ8

This “trick” can be applied to almost any of the armadillo protected software that uses the hardware fingerprint feature.

If you use this trick with other software remember you need a known set of registration details for that software, reg details are
not cross compatible with any other armadillo protected software unless the authors do so!! (Not very likely)

Meaning of “known registration details”, you need the hardware fingerprint + name + key to be able to use the software. The
details must be correct for that software as they will not work on newer

Lets get started, or retarded either way you will manage this J


First install the target 1.EXE

Run software; leave it running at this screen as shown (IMPORTANT: do not close this window, or it will not work!)
write down the hardware fingerprint as shown, down on paper or to a text file on your desktop as you will need this to complete the process.



Do not press Ok button. You will need to use your own hardware fingerprint so write it down ;)


Now keep the registration window open and running do not close until the tutorial tells you so J this step is most important.

Now run winhex , you will see a startup options window open on screen J if so then great you can skip the next part about how to start if this window doesn’t show J Its written in blue for those having trouble ;)


If you don’t see this screen when you run winhex then here’s how to start it the other ways, if you click on the small chip icon on the top taskbar in winhex or go to the tools drop-down menu at the top and select “Open RAM”.
I might add that ALT+F9 will also have the desired results and will work quicker if you don’t like the sound of the other ways to get this window open J.


Once you manage to get the above instructions worked out you will see this screen below with the Edit Virtual Memory window open and ready for us to select a branch on this tree.



Find 1.EXE instance (our target software) and click on it to expand the tree-like structure above, select entire memory then click OK (as shown)

For those using this method with other target software, its almost always the second instance of the target programs name you need to click on to expand and then select entire memory.

After you click ok you will see on your screen loads of numbers and stuff you might not like the look of as per below screenshot



Now go to the search and replace hex values option as shown in screenshot below :




Now you will see a window appear like shown below appear in front of you J



The first box contains the current hardware fingerprint reversed for example current hardware fingerprint in this machine is 9500-D217 this becomes 17D20095 as in the screenshot above but without the “-“.

Replace with box is where we put the known valid hardware fingerprint details, same as the current hardware fingerprint we need to reverse it.

The known key details hardware fingerprint is 1659-2E2E (Unlocker) so we reverse it as shown in the above screenshot and get 2E2E5916 without the “-“.

Click on ok, winhex should now replace those details as required and tell you it has been replaced 3 times confirmation window should pop-up.


Now if the values have been replaced ok with the nice message window saying it has worked then quickly open the enter key window backup J



Now press the enter key window J

Your known registration details should now store and run the software without any known side-affects.

i tried the (4+5) (8+9+10) formula... but it was obvious that the PC did not supply the phone with energy as PC did not detect the phone...
If u look at the cable diagram at www.tele-way.com, it has got an additional connection! In the connection between pin1 on the phone side and pin4 on the USB side, there is an other connection to the chassis!

guys, is the (4+5)(8+9+10) short circuit is enough? or the chassis connection is requested too? any help plz? thx...

Now you will see a window appear like shown below appear in front of you J



The first box contains the current hardware fingerprint reversed for example current hardware fingerprint in this machine is 9500-D217 this becomes 17D20095 as in the screenshot above but without the “-“.

Replace with box is where we put the known valid hardware fingerprint details, same as the current hardware fingerprint we need to reverse it.

The known key details hardware fingerprint is 1659-2E2E (Unlocker) so we reverse it as shown in the above screenshot and get 2E2E5916 without the “-“.

Click on ok, winhex should now replace those details as required and tell you it has been replaced 3 times confirmation window should pop-up.


Now if the values have been replaced ok with the nice message window saying it has worked then quickly open the enter key window backup J



Now press the enter key window J

Your known registration details should now store and run the software without any known side-affects.

To bad, it didn't work. I tried it and it showed me hardware print as you described 1659-2E2E. Only thing is that it replaced my original hardware print 2 times, not three times as u said.

Question ? I got me O2 sim in and done the text centre no and I can ring out peeps can ring in and send text and recevie, but!!! just woundering is they a way of sending mms or do I have to set that up ? and how ? or don't the mms work when u unlock the nec e616v ?

providing you have MMS enabled, on your sim, and the phone set up as per the settings for o2 MMS, it should work. I suspect that the phone is still set up with the 3G settings for MMS.

how do i know if MMS is enabled ? all i did was change the text mesenger center no so now i can send tex with O2 sim in the phone but have no idea on the MMS setting how to set it ect so i think that side is still set up on 3g

- use armadillo reg trick
- conenct the cable with already mentioned modifications
- check in device manager on which virtual port is OBEX PUSH port
- start the SW
- enter manually COM port
- Put on the batt, on external display you will see A: C:
- press read ....
- enter imei
- power on the phone without sim
- enter codes and press CALL button
(if nothing happends with NCK, try others)
- phone shows XXX LOCK OFF (network or etc.)

Another E313 was unlocked.....!!

First i have problem detect the phone

I try many many times.. even clean the

connector contact.... still failed to detect..!!

Later i open up the phone and i resolder the

I am following the instructions posted above to perform the armidillo trick and have successufully found and replaced my orginal hardware print two times, with the hardware print listed above, but i cannot still enter the correct Name and key, it still shows my orginal hardware fingerprint. Could somebody who has got it working on winxp please tell me where i am going wrong!
