my version 6630- 2.39.148
its vodafone japan i know this no realted but still
you can't, you need grifin, tornado or something like that.
really but i saw a post that it is but i dont know how
with every flasher DCT4 what you buy, the reseller give U instructin. then look to there.
you only need a PKD1 and a DKU2, then you can upgrade your phone with phoenix

Yes, no need for flash box.
Just DKU cable und PKD-1 or PBB dongle.

yes i to need details about this pkd 1. i know about this but want to know how does it look like and whether any clone exists
pkd-1= security dongle from nokia,supposed to be only on authorised dealer,
but i doubt there is posible to flash
anyway, better to buy a griffin or tornado''''on money''' ;)

no third party flasher as griffin, tornado, twister, jaf etc. can flash bb5 generation at the moment
only nokia sw software phoenix can do it --> dongle protected - you need pkd-1 or fls-4s and dku-2 usb-cable
he seems to know more.
any way u might wait or build your own pkd1:)

Sure it can do all of this. It use ORIGINAL Nokia Phoenix software.
Just 6630 must be very carefull, but because of Nokia lack now in actual Phoenix release. But sure soon Nokia will update Phoenix to do well restore of 6630.

Zulea is absolutely correct,
I tried to flash with DKU-2 and PKD-1 with five digits. It doesn't work. I dunno if it flashed using the PKD-1RD. I must try it later. When flashing using PKD-1, Phoenix asking for FLS-4.
But I succesfully Flashed using DKU-2 and Zulea's PBB which is the most realistic solutions at this moment.
also remember DON'T EVER DOWNGRADE THE FIRMWARE YOU WILL RUIN THE ADL.
Your Phone will go blank, and never can be flash using PBB again, you must find a FPS-8.
Zulea when you gonna release the ASK-RPL generator??

hie where can i get the drivers for 6630 when detected by the system ? i have win xp running cant get the drivers .........
it's easy, just install the nokia PC suite (new version). it will take care all the intallation driver needed for flashing. just say yes when your XP find new hardware was found.
