U should Have The WinRar Program Go to www.download.com and search winrar and download it ;) after installing winrar u should right click on the file and click Extract

Thank Wild eyes! I downloaded the program and did extract. When I went to the file its show the ext as *.jar now. It that how it supposed to be. Can I run the *.jar program into my N6600? Sorry for asking too much.

Um, no. Correct me if I'm wrong but 6630 doesnt have IR? Theyve done away with it in favour of bluetooth, even though bluetooth is pretty rubbish for file transfer, and useless if you want to control your TV.

Nope you are not the only one. It does the same to my phone. It freezes it.
Reinstalled a number of times, and got same. Just gave up and took it out of my 6620.

Wrong! Itīs version 1.00. A very old version. You should know your offered files. And itīs NOT Total irRemote!!! It is irRemote Control (the non-learnable little brother of Total irRemote).
The latest version with a (stable) working keygen is Total irRemote v1.41. On some mobiles versions up to 1.45 are working too. Upper versions doesnīt work, if you are not a legal user! Sure!

when i run nokia pc suite and then run the application installer part of it the phone comes up on the right hand side window and the files are on the left hand side.
this is how i usually install apps to m7yy fones.
however it does not allow me to do anything at all and the arrow onbetween the 2 boxes is 'shadowed' so i cannopt click it.

and the 7210 doesnt run on a symbian os,,,

I've folow this thread with keen interest i down loaded this total IR thing first i can't open it after extracting with winrar;i don't know which program to use in opening it, idon't know how to install it to phones,list of phone it can work with and so on ,let me confess i'm lost!!!!!!!!!

the infrared remote can only work on symbian phones of the s60 version: 7650,3650,3660,660,6620,6630,6230,6260 etc. the whole list of compatible phones is in www.symbian.com
After getting the phone you can just copy the SIS (symbian installation File) to the phone and it'll automatically install the program and, voila, you'll see it in your programs folder.
But be very careful, after using a symbian phone, you'll NEVER want to use any other type of phone....

No kidding, my buddy has a 6620 and I wan't to use his phone now vs my 3220.. it seems so outdated.The series 60 phone u can do so much with them it's crazy.

Because 6630 has NO IR Connection.
It has only Bluetooth and Cable Connection.

It's not supported cuz it's for symbian S60 2nd and n95 and n73 like somes others work @ s60 3rd, the new version will be able to 15th november so wait lil' time
here is the beta version but it is unpatched you must have bought something from them to activate this beta version

Hey heres an idea:
instead of hogging (keeping to yourself) the version which works with 3rd generation phones (n73 - n95 etc) why dont you simply get yourself on rapidshare and upload it then simply post a link for it so we can all download it... it will save people begging and putting there emails up just to get spam sent to them.
Don't work on N95...any ideas???
