i have a question ... i understood the modification, but in most modifications is wriiten that tx rx (of the phone) must be connected torx tx of max 232, not directly to rs 232 (com), can someone explain to me, or show the correct connection in the combo cable for lg 81xx ... if there is max 232 microchip, explain me (like to a lamer), how to konnect this :) ... thnx a lot
Of course Rx and Tx must be connected to Max 232 not directly to rs 232 !!!!!
Or try with this USB+Com...this work 100% for unlocking(Com) and flashing (usb)

I made my own cable from a sendo M550 cable - and it works 100%
I did have a factory made cable as a guide, and have tested it tonight and 100% working!!
1. Get M550 cable and open the box half way down the cable and make these connections with serial cable and phone adaptor:

Then turn board over for the usb connections and do as follows:

:eek: kool, if this will work with the lg that i have to unlock i'll be very happy ... i hope to resolve the problem
guys please tell me , ., , , you mean that i can't flash my u8120 with it's original USB cable ?
