Hi Guys
I`ve searching for long time for an working Unlock/flash cable in this forum but without any results!! Everybody says "my schematic is working " but when i test it it wont be work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mad: :mad: :mad:

Or maybee a "errror 40" ( its u sitting 40 cm from cable and making not working cable) :D :D :D

This is not a flashing cable!! Only an unlock one with 9v battery support..

my com cable has power attached but no usb part can some one do a proper cable that will flash and unlock and that the computer will pick up the phone and sell them to me and others who need them
got my cable from http://allgsm.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=1_91&products_id=266
but i dont know is i am doing out rong or do i need the usb adding to it

Without external battery, power is supplied to the serial part of the cable via the usb cable :D

It seems to be something wrong with my cable....i had this problem with getting the device recognized.....
now i tryed with the original lg8110 usb cable and the computer recognized the device as LGE U8XXX,when i connect with the usbflashercable that i bought from you i just get unknown device...with connected com or without the same result....
shouldnt the computer recognize the phone with this cable????even if a comcable is attached to it...
must be something with the cable....

no seriously...im sure the schematic is right but i think the cable is wrong or how you explain the above????
after you made the cable put the cable(both terminal must be connected,usb and serial) into the phone.phone must be off.
click connect on flasher and push short power button of the phone.
BTW first,in flasher option select loader(in most cases:CXC_132_5712_Prod_Loader_R2F(R5D_Signed by cust_brown).pldr).
and ofcourse select files to flash.
other setting...model and com.
after flasher run,he stopped,give you an error and ask you for usb driver.select the driver from \FlashRW-Multi\EPACOMMSetup\ .
and thats all.
P.S. if you have other error try to change loader.

i know all of this,still its not an answer of my question....
i get unknown device....that means i cannot install any drivers for it......i have lgphonemanager and the drivers are installed for that and working....but with this flashercable its not....
uuups.rx,tx and gnd(serial),take it from universal intreface.cut a cable from universal and take rx,tx,gnd and soldered to connector.
and usb from your computer or ,in my case,in front usb port from twister .

thanks friend....i have this cable..dont want to open it because of the warranty seal,or maybe i should.....its just a cable....you got the schematics???? :D :D :D

here is the schematics.
for all:
rx,tx,gnd(serial) take it from your universal box.
5v,rx,tx,gnd(usb) from any usb cable.
verify again and again connection from usb and serial to phone connector.
and thats all!!!

when it changes from com to usb yes it should ask for driver if the unit is recognized as usbflasher...but the problem is that i get UNKNOWN DEVICE and i tryed to install every f.....ckin driver there is included the one you just mentioned...if i try to install that driver it just not accepting it or if a choose a folder it just says it didnt find any better driver that the one thats installed now(even if there isnt any driver installed)

your cable is good then...
1.uninstall all the f....ckin lge driver from your computer.
2.then install the EPIUSB.INF manually (right click to epiusb.inf and click install) before start flasher.
try and post results.
Nobody has mentioned (if I readed whole thread good) that 232 interface will NOT work correctly if is supplied from COM port...
Must be used interface with external Vcc,in other cases flasher soft will NOT recognize phone correctly!
i have USPI V2 with usb supplied and works perfect.
and yes you have right about external power.old universal boxes must have external power.
but in kungartur case the problem is usb connection.

rightclicked on the EPIUSB.INF and installed it...
(usbenhet känns inte igen)means unknown device....
tryed the same process on usbports 1-20 with the same result

try to cut there and see rezults...
