The Data1Clip Team is pleased to announce the latest Version 4.0 update for the platinum talking clip.
This update adds the following optional extras to the clip plus a general improvement to the software and a free update for the 3G LG 8120.
Optional Extra 1: Sony Ericsson Update
Adds the following models to the clip:
F500, K500, K700, V800, Z1010, S700, T610 RSA, T630 RSA.
Optional Extra 2: VK Mobile Update
Adds the following models to the clip:
VK 207i, VK 530

Nicest clip which I ever used and best support too.
the talking clip is a very good clip for any brand is better that this cheat uni clip if talking clip nead help for new models exemple samsung S341 i can help them

Great support? Are you completely out of your mind?
I bought this clip back in november 2004, to unlock LGu8110 and 8120 phones.
After 3 weeks it became useless, as LG v102 came out.
So I had to buy Furious and, later, Vygis.
Now that there are LG V106+ around, this clip can't even do v103 properly.
Oh come on, you must be joking, or really have no idea what you are talking about, if you say that this clip has great support. It had no single update from end of october to beginning of january!
If you want to buy it, fine, just, please, do not say great support. It has almost non existant support.
It is a cute toy, but nothing much than that. Now tht I us more serious equipment I can't even understand what was in my mind when I first bought it. Inexperienced I was, for sure.

My words exactly, I suggest you read the instruction manual.
LG 1.06 and 1.05 have been out for 1 week? we are not superman, if you want update faster write it yourself!
In regards to your words saying we didn't release one update since october I suggest you look into the Sonyericsson and VK Major update we just added.
Contact one of our resellers and update your clip. If you had updated your clip by now, you would have found you could unlock a 1.03 LG, but if you didn't update it, I am not suprised you can't unlock them.
Come out of your box and open your eyes.

I tried to unlock K700i today but but failed even after many try. Clip updated already with V3.8 and new full charge battery. please help.. Is there something i need to know? I followed the manual and make some timming but communication error upon reaching the third blue light. Thanks in advance for your support....

complicated you say! my 12 year old son can use it! just need to read the manual! that also helps! he takes his to school and uses it!

It is not complete rubbish. It is of some use to unlock a few oldish phones, and for that it is rather handy, being compact.
My comment was mainly on non existant customer support. And to be honest, last update was really buggy, I had to reprogram it back to 1.27.
I would even sell it, but it is not worth the hassle. It will just be part of my unlocking equipment collection. A curiosity to show to customers, that always get surprised by a talking clip.
Besides,when I bought it, was about 250 Euros. I am sure you can find one for the same price.
Well obviously its not that bad then is it or you would try & get at least some return on it

Ne im not putting any words in your mouth you put them there and on here yourself it was you that said it was useless and a toy. So out of the good of my heart i offered to take it off your hands for £50 if it was as you said a toy you would of accepted the money and sat there rubbing your hands with glee obviously the clip is not that bad after all, WAS IT

This is probably a R2Y or R2AA or R2AE Version which support will be released for in the v3.9 update. Update will be out hopefully by the end of the week.

Thanks saejor. I downloaded the video and read the manual carefully but unfortunately i was not able to unlock my k700i. Hope you will release soon the new update. Thanks in advance.

Our Team has been working very hard, and we have just released the latest update to the platinum clip.
Update Adds: New Versions of the Sonyericsson V800/K500/K700
Update Fixes: Some Nokia Issues & General Functionality of the Clip.
I'm just telling my real experience with talking clip for us grow. If this is the way you treat on me--shame on you.....

still not unlock Nokia 1100 after updating with v40
try this!
leave the phone off! and when you press unlock on the clip and it says phone must be on, press the clip again and then turn phone on at the same time as pressing unlock on the clip! let me know!
