Hi!
Here is the 100% solution to transform T226 to T230!
1. Flash T226 with T230 firmware (I did it with fighter), create new security zone and activate the GSM900, GSM1800 band!
2. You will need T230 phone, I took the components from dead T230 phone, open the T226, and change the components marked on the attached picture!
3. Close the phone and thats it!! :)

solution might be working ...still you must have a dead t230 thats the hard part but thanks for the info. have to gather up some dead boards now.

...you need dead T230 phones or some parts from Sonyericsson service!! :)

i think u dont need to use parts only from t230.
what is typed on both PAs on t230? u can use PAs from any SE like t39, R520 and some more..

changing only the combiner is enough i've tried it and it perfectly works :D
I have a solution also,very simple and not so expensive!!! contact me in private for those interested! :)

Ive already seen the cheap simple and easy solution but the signal stability suckssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!! combiner can also be taken from Z200 if want

:) :) there's no need to change this 3 parts, just look for the 2 saw filter (search for it) and replace it with jumper. 100% tested!! :) :)

Can You Post the picture or schematic diagram or Drawing of convertion w/o changing the 3parts :D

I have here a t226 unit...is there any one can post a detailed procedure with the jumper solution?I have a little idea but I just want to make it sure very clearly...so far spare parts from t230 are too hard to find..bcoz I dont have any dead board stock...

lots of posts showing cheap solutions ....hehehehe did u test it yourselves....I DONT THINK SO WHY BOTHER looking for cheap solutions........changingonly the ant combiner solves the problem.....of course flash with t230 firmware to make it work

because if you have several phones with you , you would need some more spare parts and if you don't have enough spare parts that time maybe some easy or less part solutions help us to modificate to work it out..

contact me for cheap and easy solution (no need to change any physical component) but it requires skill in diss assembling sealed type of a phone part.....not my secret but others solution of couse tested working perfectly...REMEMBER ITS NOT FREE boss
Err, Remove the biggest one of those 3 in the pic from Sir GSMBlade. Make a jumper from top left note to top right note and bottom left. Write T230 firmware. Tested and worked.
