Connection ERROR

got no luck using my clip for the 1st time in unlocking N3100 / N8250 (originally locked to providers)....box says CONNECTIONS ERROR forcing me to use other unclocking soft, though feeling dismay but im not loosing hope since my reseller (unlockingtools.com) was always giving their BEST SUPPORT.....

any idea in addressing the said concern is highly be appreciated....

please make sure clip is updated to latest version (v3.8). this can be downloaded at www.data1clip.com. could you please tell us if its the black fusion talking clip you have or the platinum talking clip. Are you having problems with only these 2 models? or all nokias you have tried you cannot seem to unlock?

After entering nokia menu and going into desired unlock, i.e. dct4 unlock, do you press the ENTER button on the clip twice??? some people just press it once, the clip says 'phone must be on', then they wait, not knowing they have to press the ENTER button again, then says 'communication error, shutdown'

hi, i have the same problem since upgrading to 3.8 using platinum clip, when i try to unlock nokia phones, i get the message (unknown model) or something simular to that, after pressing enter button for second time, have had no problems before unlocking any nokia, any idea's, thanks

Hi,

Same here,, latest Platinum Talking Clip 3.8, but not work with 3100 and 1100.
WD2 phones ok tested to work though..

As well as 2 pieces K700i and 1 Z1010... Other K700i/Z1010 can unlock, but
have these 3 units that gives communication error.

No the 6630 is not supported this is a bb5 platform phone.

@fonesunlock : first of all thanks for ur immediaate response :) :) :)

1. box is v3.8.....and it's fusion talking clip

2. additional N3310 was also tested not unlocked coz the unit itself doesn't powered-on once it attached to the box....possitively N3100 / 20 doesn't unlock coz i tried 2 more units to unlock...hehehehe....yyyyyyy

3. unlocking technique as u mentioned & based on the manuals was also apllied but no luck


.....anyway we'r still keep truckin this box and inform u guys

I guess your friend knows nothing but just talk. There is no way to unlock the 6630 as of this time!

thanks for your feedback mate. nokia 3100 - which cable are you using to unlock this model? is it the pop cable, as i know for a fact it doesnt work with this, only the 6100 cable that pops onto he back where the battery is inserted works. nokia 1100 - yes yet another bug, authors seem to think its the cable schematic, they are testing now, we will get back to you as soon as we hear the solution. T610??? which version????...ive tried many with no problems at all...have you activated your clip with your reseller after updating to v3.8?

we are hoping to see new update, concentating on the bugs first :)

I hade the same problem with SE K700, but then i pushed the on-button and then it was ok, next problem was SE V800 but they told me that there is a bug in the clip and they are working on it (Maybe this week) so i dont think that there is a problem, they will surley work everything out.

in next days i will test it on Sharp and Sendo!


with fusion v1.25 i can read all infos soft says all ok and activated.

I try usermanual step by step
but nothing happens!

any times comes a new typ shutdown!

At the beginning, it was my mistake operation incorrect

T610 non Rsa work ok /RSA Work OK ! :D
Dct-4 Work Ok! (tested with nok 6230,6610i,7250,3510i,7210,):D

Dct-3 not work

But k500i everytime comunication error shutdown! :( :confused: :(

I have unlocked 3120 using pop cable. Is there any difference with the 3100?

The 3100 must be unlocked via the non-pop cable, this has always been the case, we cannot comment on the 3120 as we have never seen one.

The 3120 looks like the 3100. I'll try the pop cable when a 3100 comes by.

I have tested unlock on 3100 using pop cable yesterday. It is working same as 3120.
