Unlocked NEC E288, not accepting T-mobile

I have unlocked the NEC E228 using NEC Craazy software, I have tested the phone using Orange, Virgin and O2. When I insert T-Mobile using my own sim card, which is fairly old, it works. When I insert the customers T-Mobile, the NEC logo comes on and doesn’t go any further (I have tested the customers sim card using another phone & Sim is OK).

I know that the phone is unlocked as my T-Mobile sim card works but why doesn’t the customers T-Mobile???

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

i had the same problem, its down to the T-Mobile cards that are not compatible with the handsets

i have a old style T-mobile card that works. so its down to the new design :D

I have same problem with some e616v/c616v, everyone warn customers before unlocking

i unlocked one e228,it accepted the t.mob,but when the customer recieves a sms, when u want to open it it says the folder is empty,but it sends the message! the sms service centre no is correct,any idea?

have the same problem with some unlocked Motorolla A835. Strange that most of them work with new tmobile sim but few don't.
Hope somone will solve this mystery!

so far all the nec phones i have unlocked none of them worked with new TMoblile sim cards while worked on old sim cards
