I have bought a ghost dual sim adapter fo my SE z1010.
In first position put my simemu card (with 3 number) and at second pos a real usim.
switching from a sim to another using power off the phone...after few times/days....my simemu card is not recognised yet. insert sim.
if i switch to second sim (real sim) it works normally.
so, try to use only simeu card and insert sim.....
simemucard si not recognised.
using smartmouse and simemuconfig....no sim inserted.
i suppose that during the phone power off ...the dual sim adaptor change something and write to simemucard...and destroy it.
reflashing the simemu card all goes ok...but it's not a good thing to have this problem when not at home.
any idea? daniel?

Hi pitone,
you are lucky! I've destroied 2 cards..
I used a multisim adaptor on the back of my cell. ultimately often got " SIM refused" Today "SIM NOT KNOWN"..I tried to reflashing but NOTHING!
this is the second sim broken...ERGO: pay attention to use gost sim adaptor with 1 simemu card...first or then they collide!

if you do a full erase of the silver/green MUST work another time, the card.
my experience is that is a progressive change any time you switch.
first times works all. at a certain point, when switching...insert sim (the simemu is not recognised) but putting the simemu as single card it works.
if reinsert ghost adaptor and switching few times the simemu sim is not recognised and putting it as single card say...insert sim.
so it's not a single action but a sequence of switch that tilt simemu card.
if you have the same problem i assume that there is a problem :)
probably maybe useful to write protect simemu.... i'll try it.
is it possible to completely write protect simemu card?

hello pitone02
i used usb infinity as PIC/EEPROM programmer and all was ok!
Now my simemu card isn't recognized by no one phone.. I've tried to completely erase it and then reprogram it..but nothing! The processor isn't recognized.. With program Cardinal I receive " input buffer empty, check the card!" Seem the card is dead! Anyway i observed that the problem arise when i changed the battery..from that moment i continually riceived " insert SIM".. or " SIM UNKNOWN" but i turned off the phone and then all was "quasi" ok.. Probably I have destroied simemu sim when i have turned off the phone while it was in "attesa..stiamo aggiornando la SIM"
Anyway, how do you think for protecting simemu?
Bye

i don't have infinity programmer. i use old multipipo/smartmouse to program smartcard.
this time i have problem to program eeprom.
pi is programmed correctly but...eeprom...don't answer to reset.
i will try few times

Hi pitone,
have you got to reprogram your sim-emu card? I hope you have success but i'm afraid your card is dead... Also my card doesn't answer to reset..
Peraphs Have you done some "strange" action while your phone was updating tehe sim? I think this is the point...

hi.
not retry yet.
i will try this night.
i haven't do anything but i think the time to phone powerdown is different from using normal and simemu sim.
i don't exclude my card is dead...but why dead? it's possible to destroy pic/eeprom using the phone? pic is normally programmed but seem something goes wrong :D

i have rewrited pic but eeprom seems to be died.
i will try other ways...

Hi,
I guess that it's possible to damage the sim during ( or while..) its updating; in fact in that moment "something" is written on the chip..and that "something", peraphs, may be wrong or can go wrong the writing process... My sims all are died during the updating : it's my misdeed! What do you think about this...?

tried many times to reprogram eeprom. it's dead.

hi pitone02,
good news:
I've reprogrammed my 2 apparentely "broken" sim and now all is ok!
In my case the problem was about the correct file I used..the one foe EEPROM was not compatible with the one for the PIC...
Anyway now I don't use the adaptor and all is very ok, argo....
