ive got a 7600...the fone was unlocked neara year ago...recently a msg appears wen i turn the phone on saying "netowrk info no displayed on this network"..once this msg appears all the reception goes....wat could this be??..ive had trouble b4 with this fone because the reception would randomly go and i had to restart the fone...some one plz help.

i can do this for you if you want it needs new flash or you could go to nokia to get it done up to you!

Those handsets are locked to Hutchinson and the flash file on them only enables it to work on the 3G network so you need to flash the handset with a different flash file then you will get an extra menu in phone settings allowing you to use 3G and GSM or just GSM

When the phone is reset by some hardware (prodigy griffin jaf..) THats where the option appears so you can select GSM

sprry your wrong i have 7600 with first ever version made and it worked fine on three unlocked it fine and used 2g over a year later i call out i get three beeps its not barred tho cause it allows me on wap gprs get full signal and txts on 02 normally if it is barred it will not allow that it will say sim card registration failed however flashed it with griffin and put the 7th menu in it worked on it for coule of days and then mucked up again its three themselves that are preventing us from useing it may i note that the 7600 works on three at all times
Make another full reset with Griffin. Today a have same problem, solved with full reset.

Another option to get the "network mode" menu if its not in the menu just write euro.pp product profile with UFS, Twister
