Hi there guys,
My Nokia 6630 is not supporting any MMC other than with the supplied one with the phone. I had tried 128mb and 256 mb but isnt working with any. Is anyone suffering from the same problem or is there any solution to overcome the problem ???

hello, the problem is what you have is the Nokia 6630 Phone, He have a new technology with MMC. Its a DV RS MMC, he work with 1,8 V and the normal RS MMC with 3 V.

6630 works with a kind of MMS card , which is smaller than origilnal mms. for example 6230 works with a normal MMS but 6630 is a new version of Nokia. Therefore 6630 neds a RS MMC
card.

itīs right only rs-mmc cardīs whid 1,8v workd corektly whid the phone! in sweden their i live a have a 256mb card from the place i bought the phone from.

on 6630 you have RSMMCDV works only on 1,8 V , dv means card is dual voltage 1,8v and 3v......

i have say this forward 1 week ;)
the bigges DV RS MMC card is 256, anyone say me that in march comes 512 DV RS MMC card. are waiting and dte drink
but it is to be converted possible the MMC haven, which it operates 3V MMC cards?
