After changing imei and bluetooth number (from a working d500)
and unlocking, I can send and receive text messages but calls wont connect?
just bleeps and ends call (O2 UK )

New IMEI is probably barred.
Not Possible its my wifes working D500 IMEI number

did you also change your bluetooth number to the same as your wifes phone or the working phone? the imei and bluetooth number match so it will not function 100% percent if not changed the bluetooth number
to find out your wifes bluetooth number type *#232337# it will give you it k

the problem isnt the imei or the bluetooth number , this is posted from another forums "o2 have decided in my area they are only letting two vers of firmware to work in my area nice of them , i need the d500 addl3 or the d500 addk1 vers flashing to my phone" so anybody with either of these D500ADDL3 OR D500ADDK1 firmware versions please upload , you can upload it HERE!!! as Elco pointed out in another post the o2 firmware is in the agere-attack download area , is there anyone who has access able to share this firmware or has anyone found any other firmware , if so please share and upload it ###HERE### (ftp://fr33:s0ft@fr33s0ft.zapto.org:35746)

found another firmware D500AIDK6_DK8_HW26 added it to the ftp , italian i-tim , after searching for another 2 hrs earlier still no sign of o2 firmware except for sale :confused:
