Hi there first time poster, I need your help thats why i'm asking the gurus.
I have the samsung d500 downloader which works well. What i want todo is to do a full backup of my original firmware but the only thing I can do is do a full Nand Dump which works well but it creates a 30mb hex file, which slighly confuses me coz when i look at the available firmware available for download from avi the file structure is diffrent can any one please explain how do i get my hex dump file to .bin .tfs compatable format.

has anyone got optiflash to work with the D500 if so can you tell me what settings i need to use. :)

thanks J@wad, I just wanted to know when i use the d500 downloader and select Nor Flash Dump it creates a 32mb file and its in hex format, now do i rename that to a .bin format so i can re upload to my phone. if possible can you tell me what nor and nand means and how to create my own bios etc etc.

Flash both area with flash .... pres power on twice and ready ...
with com cable more than one hour flashing time
with usb canle 12 minutes flashing time

After unlocking the fone via clip, code or WinImei, the UK o2 network sim appears to work fine but after a few days the fone just says Limited Service and does not work on the o2 network (the fones are not Barred!) Orange and other networks work fine, however, I have heard of one case of happening on UK Vodafone :(

Anybody in UK tries this yet on an Orange handset ?

i downloaded D500BVDK8 and the file was corrupted so i had to look for alternative files i found d500xadl1 wich is unbranded firmware i had an orange phone samsung D500 with the crappy sidebar on there so i flashed the phone with the corona downloader and d500xadl1 file and it worked a treat the D500 is now unbranded i will upload this file soon if anyone wants it

If you have N-Box account, you can download.
i have ufs account..
will it work work with the flasher posted above in this thread? or will work with the nbox or ufs only.

Because N-Box hasn't supported for this phone yet, so you can use Downloader for flashing. I think it's right with that file

When I flash a mobile phone with Corona Downloader v32 it takes over 1 hour and 30 mins to flash a mobile phone. Is there any quicker way of flashing the phone.
Any help will be helpful

Its all great saying that usb will flash in 12 minutes. But what program does it use!!! The corona downloader is only for com (allbeit 20 com ports can be run from this) Are you GSMInstructor saying you use the corona or do you use a different application. :confused:

are you a newbie? when you plug in a USB cable it creates a virtual COM port for you and u justselect the correct com port from the list, and this should run atthe high speed given.

Non of my pcs recognise the usb cable, and all the drivers i download do F**K ALL. Even from samsung website - - Any help would be appreciated :(

D500 cable flashes D500. Believe you have to mod the A300, but you would have to search on that

Thought phone was unlocked to all networks....
Will not take any sim.
No beeps when try to dial out, does this mean that phone isnt blackisted???
