here's the story:

i bought agere attack when in the first stages to unlock E31X models and before i bought the unit i made sure to ask my reseller if agere attack will have full support along the lines of usage. he assured me that there would be. now ive come to a situtation where my computer was comprimised and i had to re-install windows including all my unlocking softwares and when i reinstalled agere attack it asked me for my userid and password supplying me with a fingerprint id. i requested a userid and password from my reseller and they are telling me that the old agere attack will no longer be supported and i have to pay $75 to upgrade to the newer one which includes a dongle and does more than the first gen. model that i had. i told my reseller that i dont need any other feautures and my 3.0 model did the jobs i needed and i didnt want to pay an additional $75 for a dongle. my reseller was unable to do anything for me so ive come here hoping to get something resolved with agere attack team for this matter. i need to know what can be done.

Well, your reseller is right , you have to upgrade to Dongle ! , because of our own security ! If u paid less then $200 then you will not get a upgrade free!

If u dont whant to upgrade your Agere-Attack,send me by PM your reseller name & hw fingerprint & i will give u a new key.But my advice its to make the upgrade becose now Agere-Attack support many new Samsung models than before(v3.0).If u have payed more than 200 USD for Agere-Attack when u buyed,U dont have to pay 75 $ for upgrade.

Thanks elco. Upgrading not only provide more features but mobility also cause now you can move from one computer to another. Do we have to go through the same thing again next time when your computer crashed?
