this software is working with many phones like all nokia, and sony ericsson in which i have checked and it is a good software , but i tried it on alcatel and it is not working ..
Mobiledit 1.0.0.56 work with Alcatel 535/735 !!!
I'v tested it after months ago ... there is a crack for it too !
PS - work only with Phone Book ... if you want to menage images & ringtones you must use "Alcatel PC Suite"

Except you MUST TYPE everything(do not use COPY PASTE command).
All works fine.You also MUST select proper port(IR-DA,serial,usb...) and phone type.

For MobilEdit 1.94 and serial ,email me : alecsoft@yahoo.com .Set subject to : MobilEdit... etc .I get a lot of spams :)
For what you will use MobilEdit !?
I don't think that support content menager, like Alcatel PC Suite!
My opinion is that "Alcanna" is better then "MobilEdit"!
/ "VCards" & "Vcal" made by Mobil Edit don't work with other Phones software, even MobilEdit which support ... i've tried with SX1, T610 ... don't waste your time!/
PS - don't you like Alcatel PC Suite ???
