View Full Version : Still no solution for the not unlockable few LG U8120
Hi
Now it happend again, one of these LG U8120 impossible to unlock, have tried Furious, Blazer, Redbox but.... error, error error. Its a v102 but this problem is not depending of sw version. Anyone have some new experiencs with this??

Have you downgrade the sw too? (you only say, it not depending of sw version)

No flashing, it should not be a problem to unlock a pure v102 with the unlock boxes i have tried with allready.

I flashed...and unlocked...and flashed again...only timeout...or disconnected
or red light...
I forget about him...
last sunday I flash the phone with a 105 ver and unlocked with babe...
this is the story :D

WINXP SP2 is fine as thats what i am using - its most likely cable problems with these. Try yeldar or dolaser as they have proper usb/com flashing cables (no need for ext supply as it uses usb). If not give me a shout and if ur in england i can get u one ;)

all 4 files
after that babe sw get OK but phone is still locked
then reflash again vith 103 or lower ver and phone is unlocked
anyway this is not a rule...it happend
I have now 8130 same errors...no way to unlock

OK, but i dont think this can fix communication error on these few phones. BTW, where to find v100?

I connected the usb and the com cable to the pins as said in the schema. Still when i press power button it is as if nothing was pressed. Do not know what is wrong :(
I know i have to use both com and usb together if not mistaken.

Hello,Alv!
In what condition is your phone,dead or alive or have just `blink` when you try to power ON?
I flashed many of them without big problems...your problem can be bad cable or realy dead phone :D
Just to check...you know that there must be used external powered com cable/interface?
If all is OK,after try to power on phone,windows `new HW wizard` must be started to install usb drivers...
Check all this...

mate the phone is alive. They are just locked. I have some 10 right now.. and more coming. I will try via external power then. I thought it was enough no power.

for the few LG with TIMEOUT problems no way no way!!!
they don't respond to GDFS commands!!!
no with babes cruiser vygis redbox or else...
you can downgrade or do what you want but not UNLOCK !!!
bye bye less than 0,5% of LG I had in my hands...
