only replacing.if you can with 47K thermal resisitor,with simple resistor phone will charge but without temp protection.

DO NOT short circuit this 2 point's phone will not charge.

First Update your Fon with mcu, ppm, pm and make full reset. If no ok, change P.A.

But please if you want i'm not experienced with mobile phone repair.. but i have more than 30 year's experience in electronic and computer devloppement..(Repair; Satelite receiver ; Tv's.., replace memory flash;..etc..)..

Know if you want to help me more please send or post me a procedure to locate the problem... or software to reflash it...

Read PM file from a healthy 6670 and write it to your phone. Then INIT Simlock.

If it is not hardware damaged unit then u can repair 100% ur phone.

I have Nokia 6600... When we switched On the phone... Phone loads normally.. but after showing Insert Sim on screen it switches off suddenly (Or with SIM CARD it shows hand shacking and Blink) ... do self test with selftest software and it will giving report something failed to you, it means you need to make full flash the phone with DCT3 flasher and rebuild imei-set faid. if COBBA is failed, change cobba and do flash like I writed up..

Dear friend just remove PA IC and test again battery connector.If phone make power on your PA IC is damage and should change it. ;)

i have a nokia 7260 which is dropped and earpeice is not working. most probably there is a cut on the lines.i dont have a schematic diagram for this unit and anyone who have please share it.....

Please need 6610i power switch ways.Somewhere the + switch way is short circuited to gnd so phone swithes on/off itself, not allways.not switch problem.some good tips?

Maybe this little pic will help you, try to change the capacitor it usually the one that responsible for short circuit, find it in any 6610,7210, same location.

Well beside this R and C, power switch goes directly to UEMK. But in my opinion it still passive components that responsible for problem like this, UEMK will have the smallest percentage of possibilities.

Found the problem!There was salt beside pwr switch witch makes short circuit sometimes.
