The v1.6 code reader supposed to read all soft versions incl v22 and the 1.44 is for direct unlock for blocked counters I think as there was no mention of downgrading since SPunlocks 1.41 version.

I have the same problem. However I have the phone counter blocked and my usb cable modifications are not complete as the pins 4-5 (power supply)aren't connected together (...I use the phone battery).

yes I also used battery but now i have united pin4 with pin5 but still no result , I tried the soft on several computers and nothing happens , it must be somthing with the phone...anyway it doesn't make any difference if you use batery or 4-5 conected...

Not working for me with right cable, so no place for hope.You'll see an error message when turn off the soft.
On 'normal' NEC phones work great.Tried 25 ver too.
Maybe a modified com port cable is needed?

I don't really get it :( When I run Direct Unlocker 1.44 and use Repair option, the phone is in service mode (blue screen with A: and C: letters). After Reading step, the Unlocker prompts for IMEI.

I cannot power the phone on - it has battery removed...To do that I would have to disconnect the Nec from the cable, but then the Unlocker couldn't 'repair' the phone...

Anyway, *#06# shows the same IMEI as the one written on the sticker under the battery...

im having a problem with the nec direct unlocker with a e616v version 18, i get an error

im using the software on win 98, and i have tried it on 2 PC's they both give me the same error.

hi brother i also faced that probleme before but solved with farious server my phone didn't unlock on nec prog (read code or direct unlock )i had some logs from the past i used one and i found my phone unlocked ;) i don't know if you tried to unlock with logs or not but as i think you should try it because it is th e solution of your probleme

unlock works 100% but if imei is always the same on all phones??? they will all be blocked after a while.

If you read codes, the imei don't change. Imei change if you use direct unlock .

what can i have to do?
go into device manager you need to select a diferent com port keep changing until you find the right port

Hi this is the first time I have done unlocking on NEC phones, used the spunlock and great the phone is unlocked but as warned the IMEI number has changed and I can't find any way to change it back, they are legit UK phones and I have good IMEI numbers on them, but how the hell do I re-program them in??????? ( using the mod. USB cable )
