Hi Profis,

I want to use my Blaupunkt Radio Car300. I have the Code, thats not the problem. But in my cardisplay is only " SAFE " to read. So I turn it off, put the AS-Button for 3 sec. and turn it on. I can hear the function-tone. IAt the display ist only "SAFE " to read. Not my 10 chances to enter my code-number. After one hour the radio is off again. I turn it with Power-button and the AS-button (push it for 3 sec.), but there is only "Safe" to read again. Thats all. But i need the four _ _ _ _ to enter my code-number! What can i do?

Well...If the eeprom is not removable! How do you read it then?
My Philips 22dc279/62 eeprom is solded to the board in the radio.
Is there an adapter to put on it or do you remove it with a solder from the
board....read the eeprom....and sold it back on the board?

But perhaps in your case it is your occupation to steel car radios and then sell them on the black market?? The forum describes you as "No life poster"!!

There is a 4 digit code on the Radio 0143 (BMW Sticker), but the 1 could be a 7 and the 3 could be a 8, I only have 3 attempts so I don't won't to get it wrong, that is if this is even the correct code.

The radio is the stock mercedes one. It has a big display screen with Nav Cd Radio and all that. Id have to take out the whole unit to get the serial number. When I called mercedes they said all they needed was the VIN unless it was aftermarket which it isnt

For your dealer all you need is the VIN number but we need a little more... :)

You'll need to remove it to get the serial number, this is quite easy but needs a little care. There should be a 4 digit code, if you give me that I can calculate the code for you.
The dealers use a database and link the VIN number to your code, and they charge to issue the number, sometimes as much as $100.
At least this is free..... :)

No problem, but you will need removal keys. You insert the keys either side of the unit behind the screen and pull, this will extract the unit.
