View Full Version : New Way to lock SIM card
Here is my situation. There are few Carriers ( GSM ) that are locking the sim card to the IMEI of the phone. When you buy the phone together with the sim card you can not use that sim card with another phone, even if the other phone is unlock. Seems like the sim card is married to the original IMEI of the phone you first bought, therefore there is no way for you to change to a better phone without changing your sim card. Is there any way to around this situation? .
Thanks

Imei info isn't stored in sim, so the only way is changing imei (off course this is illegal) in every phone you want to use
