View Full Version : Audio Adapter with Incoming Call. Please recommend to me with this problem.
This is myPic and myProblem.
To help me.
I made Audio Adapter, that usable for SonyWalkman Headphone.
It's work for listening to MP3 from my SL45.
I'm so very happy with this Headphone,it to give Extra Bass.
But...When plug Audio Adapter to SL45,it's Microphone will off.
And when incoming call. I'm can't to talk with Microphone'SL45 because Microphone is off.
How to talk with any incoming call without unplug Audio Adapter.
please recommend to me with this problem.

Perhaps I know the solution:
Some days ago I started to make a led light to my SL45.
I found that if it is a connection between the PIN 8-9, it will display a pic when U connect the headphones (when it is activated by menu code 9-7) and the microphone sound will shut down, and there will be any sound just only in the headphones.
Anyway can U write down how have You done the change in the PINs?
What have U connected and where? (I mean left ear, right ear, etc.)

Can you hear vmo files through your headphones?
If no then you have to install a resitor to some pins (Sorry I don't know the value of the resistor, nor do I know the pins that shold be connected to)
Make a sample vmo file by using your dictaphone (remove headset) and play it with your headset on. You should hear only mono voice....

.vmo files are in mono - that doesn't depend on what earphones you use.

I know that vmo are 8khz mono :)
But without the resistor he hears nothing null zero lulu

But even if you can play a vmo file you can't talk to people because microphone is switched off. Only a patch helps for that. Maybe you better ask abomin for this. He released a patch for MP3 and VoiceDialing if SL4 is connected to carkit

Sorry I googled but I didn't found any infos about resistor size....
forget VMO do you see some earphones if you connect your adapter to your mobile? If yes you therotically got a headset without microphone unit :D
But I'm afraid only a patch helps in this situation :(

I'm tested with VMO Files and Out-Incoming Call but i hear in single side(right side). because? :confused:

I use PIN 1 for Ground, PIN 2 for left, PIN 11 for right and PIN 5 connect with PIN 12. it correct? :confused:
And i hear in single side(right side) ,when Out-Incoming Call. :confused:

And I apply patch "Enable MP3 and VoiceDialing in Carkit and in Dockstation" but can't to talk with Microphone'SL45 in incoming call. :confused:

It's okay if you hear voice in only one earphone. Standard headsets works this way. I'm not sure what happen if you use original SL45 headset. I friend of mine gots one maybe I can get it from him....
Well as I mentioned in my edited reply. Just a patch can help you out.
SL checks if headset is plugged - if yes then disable microphone :)
It isn't a big patch but I've NO sense in patching... Maybe you can abomin for doing this :)
