View Full Version : Motorola A835 with 100% memory full

I have this Motorola A835, and when I try taking pictures or record a Movie it says Memory Used 100%, and freezes, or refuses to take pictures, despite having all data erased. I flashed it and flexed it and did a Master Reset and Master Clear, but it still says 100% Memory used. Any suggestions? :confused:

:D i did format my phone and it WORKED!!!!!!! :D :D
Go to Settings/Phone Status/Storage Devices/Phone and press menu again then choose format, after that it said memory used 0%!

did you try formatting the phone after the flash?
Did you try flashing it with Motorola PST?
After Flashing, Flex it as well and check Master Reset and Master Clear, then format phone from keyboard
after flasher with pst and format with keyboard no good.only one way for change memory flasher.because it is bad.

no man u don't have to change the ic of memory
u have to try to format the eternal memory by motorolla phone tool
that is the only way to explore ur phone to delet some files from the phone to make some free space to make the format the memory of ur phone from inside the phone

if your phone works, then go into the menu and go into settings. there should be a phone status sub menu, go in there and choose storage devices, then go on "phone" and press the menu button this time, not the select button. a new menu will appear and choose format. if you can't find this then say where you bog down

I suppose you have Motorola PST installed. Start MultiFlashFlex.exe then browse for the flash file for A835 and connect your phone. Windows should install your USB drivers for it, which are located in your PST directory. Once your phone appears as connected, press start and it will flash the phone, then browse for the flex file check master clear and master reset and press start. when done, you should be all set.

if you already flashed and flexed it then looks like it's not soft problem, it needs to be looked at physically.

Ok here we go again!!!
In this case if we try to flex the phone with any tool it says error. With every pack there is two flex. the one with Start MMCXXXXX.hs cant be flex!!! Why??? it says error in USB line o or something like that!
There musnt the 100% A385 with memory IC damaged. Cause I see more than 50 Set with this PB which cant be formate.
So there must be some serious SW Problem.
Just tell me if it works with smartmoto super flash or not.

smartmoto just emulates a PST flasher so it's basically the same as if you'd be using PST. Try to see if you find a newer flash file and try flashing with that.
Suggestion: I found quite a few Moto flashes with eMule. (Search Google for eMule.)

did you use full flash or partial? if not, try to full flash + flex as well.

Smartclip site gives full info on 4 types of smf files:
language pack
reflash -- to change soft ver
full flash -- for repair, has bootcore as well
flash flex -- has flex settings as well.
FLEX is a communication protocol developed by Motorola and used in many pagers. FLEX provides one-way communication only (from the provider to the pager device), but a related protocol called ReFLEX provides two-way messaging.

odeon.files site has all for files for many models, if you flashed all the files into the phone and still gives error, I'd say your flash IC has hardware problems.
a few questions:
1. using the reflex method (or flex at least) can i repogram the eeprom AND the user memory, i mean the internal user memory?
2. using the link that U provided i found a nice history of the FLEX operating system! is THAT OS used still on our moto A835?
3. yes, smartclip gives full info on 4 types of smf files but can U give me some useful info on where can I actually download a full flash file?! i searched the net for some useful links but i just find different firmware versions for this phone
4. Littlemaster, can you send me a full flash file?!

1. it rewrites most everything in the phone, not sure if anything remains. Give Master Reset and Master Clear to fully clear everything

both have all kind of flashes for SmartMoto -- If you bougth SmartClip from authorized reseller, you should get access to support site.
If you are really desperate try on p2p, see if you find any flash

if u flash ur moto a835 then it still won't make any difference coz da fone has a seperate chip onboard so u ave 2 format it, try p2ktools or if that doesn't work then i'll ave a look around, infact i'll test p2ktools using my moto e1000 and see how far i get, b bak soon

i have the same problem downloaded flash file from www.freegsmteam.com after flashing the memory s still 100% full i will try with smartclip and pst if there is any success i will let you guys know

format is an ideal solution if u have flashed it before Go to Settings/Phone Status/Storage Devices/Phone and press menu again then choose format, after that phone will be ok i have tried it and it worked, DONT CHANGE MEMORY IC!
