I'm trying to make an customized CarKit to my A52. I have an original CarKit from Siemens and it send the following command to the phone to activate the CarKit mode:
RX = cellphone recieve
TX = cellphone Transmit
RX - AT^SACD=2,"1A" [0D 0A]
TX - AT^SACD=2,"1A" [0D 0A]
TX - OK [0D 0A]
RX - AT^SACD=2,"1A,00,2,1" [0D 0A]
TX - AT^SACD=2,"1A,00,2,1" [0D 0A]
TX - OK [0D 0A]
TX - ^SACD: 1A,01,1,0,SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS [0D 0A](16 numbers Hexa)
RX - AT^SACD=2,"1A,01,2,RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" [0D 0A] (16 numbers Hexa)
TX - OK [0D 0A]
The cellphone sent the S's numbers to carkit and it answer the R's numbres.
How can I calculate the R's numbers ? It's seens a kind of CRC of the given S's numbers.
Thanks for the help !
PS: Example of R and S numbers:
^SACD: 1A,01,1,0,F7342B2832344221
AT^SACD=2,"1A,01,2,442AB576CC3CEBA0"
Hi, if you can send me the circuit of the handsfree, perhaps, i can help you better, if i understand the circuit. bye bye. Mati
Here some numbers and anwers that I got:

Any Idea how can I calculate , from 8 bytes numbers of the Line 1, the 8 byte numbers of the line 2?
TIA
MOV
Hi movvom,
so you think that the carkit can only be activated via non-standard AT commands and that the Siemens carkit really does this? Indeed I could not find any pin combination to activate it, but I assumed that there should have been one....
In my expiriences I see that the number form the cell phone have some bytes that don't change:
^SACD: 1A,01,1,0,XXXXXXXXXX344221
But the "34 42 21" bytes are only for A52. The C55 phone send another 3 bytes that always repeat.
Could it be also possible that you need only to connect some pins and that the phone then know aha, this is a carkit?
I bought a headset (org Siemens) and I checked that Pin
2 and 5
3, 4 and 6
8 and 10
are connected.
I'll check if it is working if I connect a blank connector as I wrote abov tomorrow.
Would be great if someone can measure the same at a carkit.
Hi Cris02
That information is correct, exception to pin 8 and 10 that is the microphone connection (it's seen to be connected because the Mic has about 500 Ohms)
But if you make a handsfree with this (Headset) configuration you will have problem with audio echo. For example, if you call a person using the Headset configuration as a Handsfree, the called person will listen all that it's say retunning. Thats why it's important to enable the carkit mode.

Hi!, i am interested in this subject too!!, i found something o a Russian WEbpage but it dont works for me, it said
Pin7 GND
Pin6 Not Connected
Pin5 Not Connected
Pin4 (RX) HIGH
the same chart said correctly about Freehand activation
i dont know any Russian anyway!. :D
Any help or ideas?!!!
