Newbie to unlocking myC2-2

Hi

Please excuse if I sound silly, but could someone walk me through the unlock process of myC2-2.

What file readrers do I need, programs, .exe, .RAR etc. I have a cable to USB and phone.

All I need is some help to get me started, so I can help others.
